Location was short for all the parks we visited with the Tampa City Pass. Springhill Suites was exactly what the online 8.5 review said it would be. It was pet friendly enjoyed by my Grand pup Kai. The staff (Yvonne and Cherry) were very nice, the free continental breakfast was hot, plenty and delicious. The room was clean, and the kitchenette was perfect. Thank you. We are definitely going back.

I enjoyed the swift check-in process, friendly staff, and the convenience of places in the area. The beds were VERY comfortable! The attempt to keep the place clean was visible, but the results were not that great.
When my son and I entered our room it felt nice and cozy. But as our stay went on I found some form of a nicotine container in the office chair, which tells me the room was not checked and cleaned that well. The bathroom tub and lighting was very dim and dated, also the iron was broken. I had to iron very close to the wall since the cord did not advance the way and it kept turning completely off. The breakfast on both mornings did not look very appealing to eat ( specifically the hot breakfast). The breakfast looked as if it was not safe to eat pretty much. I love the Marriott and has utilized many Springhill Suites specifically with no problems as above.

I did not like the smell of the hotel because the smell lingered onto the breakfast food I didn't like the smell of the room and the tray tables could have been bigger and the parking spots are small

I booked a king suite and when I arrived they put me in a room with 2 full sized beds. The receptionist told me they had no more king rooms available and there was nothing they could do. I booked/reserved a king suite and even called earlier in the day to verify our reservation. This is completely unacceptable!
The TV in the room didn't work and person at the front desk apologized and said there was nothing they could do. Again, unacceptable!

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk staff was very helpful as well. The room was spacious with two queen-sized beds and a living room area. It was very helpful that the sink and mirror were located outside the bathroom/shower-bathtub area.
The sofabed's mattress very thin and I could feel the springs in the mattress.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. The grounds were clean amd well lit. The room was spacious and very clean. The beds and pillows were comfy cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We went to a concert at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa and chose to spend the night at your wonderful hotel. The only suggestion I would make is to please add a handicap ramp at the back of the property . We arrived back at the hotel at 1:09am. Two elderly disabled ladies. We were lucky to find one parking space in the very back of the parking lot. We had to go around the entire property at the wee hours of the night to get the wheelchairs inside. There is a little ramp by the pool already paved. All that needs to be completed is the curb be leveled in the parking lot making the back door accessible to handicapped people. I really hope this will be a priority for this property to fix. Other than that very important safety issue it was a fantastic stay. If the handicap ramp gets added to the back parking lot we will be back to stay many more times. If not it was a pleasure this time.
Please put a jamdicap ramp at the back of the property by the pool. It is difficult to have to go around the entire building at 1:09 am because there is no handicap access through the back door. The paver is already there. You just need to level the curb in the parking lot. Please make this a priority we really would like to frequent your hotel again many times. Thank you for your time.

The bed reaked of pot. Also the door was broken. Front desk was not very helpful regarding the awful smell.

Location convenient
Check in time was at 3pm, we arrived at 3:45pm and our room was not ready (we had to wait 45 minutes after we arrived before checking in) We had an event to be at which caused us to be late. The temperature in our room was warm set it at 69 and it felt warm.

Cooked Breakfast was not good . It was sausages that looked undercooked and frightening scrambled eggs. Rotten oranges and precooked waffles that tasted like a bag of sugar.
The coffee was good and they had a variety yogurts and bagels and real oatmeal with a lot of toppings and breakfast cereal cups.

Beautiful room. Adequate for my family’s needs. The breakfast was very good.
The sign posted at the pool said the spa was open from 7 to 10, but they didn’t open the pool until around 8:00 am.

The beds were comfy.
Breakfast could be better. The carpet in the hallway on the 5th floor and in our room 504 needs to be reupholstered as it was very worn. Also had to go to a different floor for ice. The pull-out bed in our room also needs to be replaced it was sunken and had tattered ends on the cushions.

Convenient to I-4 and I-75. Perfect location for where we needed to be. Shopping and restaurants nearby and easy to get to. Rooms are outdated but large and clean (reno in July I think I overheard). Great breakfast. Always fresh foods (several hot selections), hot an fresh coffee, the attendants were awesome, especially Yvonne. She was a true gem and made our week long stay special. Housekeeping team on top of things, public spaces kept clean. Pool was clean but freezing. Parking good with bright lights. Front desk team friendly.
Hot tub could have been warmer. Full size beds in the room were too small even for our 'small' family so hopefully the upcoming reno will address.
