Its location next to the shopping center and the beach was great. Also, it's relatively close to the airport. The plumeria trees and orchids growing on site were nice too. Lots of mirrors in the room. Tranquil balcony was a plus.

Kitchen had basic pots/pans, utensils, cups/plates, but no kettle and no salt/pepper shakers. I was able to boil water in a small pot for my tea. So, it was not that big of an issue. However, Our building was one of the farthest ones from the concierge/front desk. It would've been nice if they had designed the place so the concierge office is more central and people don't have to walk 10 minutes to talk face-to-face with the staff. On the morning after our first night there, I visited the front desk to request some additional items (extra shampoo and coffee) for us to use the next day because they only had a tiny bottle of shampoo in the bathroom and two packets of coffee (1 regular, 1 decaf) for our 3 nights in town. The concierge didn't have access to the accoutrements/storage room when I visited them at 7am, so I was told that housekeeping will bring them to my room later. But, after a day, nobody had brought things over. So the following morning, I called them to re-request the items, and they said they'll send someone over, who never showed up (no surprise). So at the end of my third day, I walked back to the concierge. The staff there had access to the storage room, and handed me my requested items. Also, my key card stopped working on the 3rd day, so I had to walk over to the concierge again for them to issue a new set -_-... Also, the concierge was nice enough to research and provide about 3 different local taxi services, but they either didn't pick up, or weren't available, or didn't serve the area around the hotel... so we ended up using Uber/Lyft instead of supporting local businesses. Definitely plan ahead when you think you need a taxi. Finally, the amount that I was charged upon arrival did not match the amount that was posted when I reserved the place on this site.

There was shopping close by and the beach was across the parking lot. The staff was very nice and efficient and the property was very quiet.

The rugs needed to be shampooed and the closet and cabinet doors didn't close all the way.

The exhaust fan in shower area didn't work & fridge ran loudly. Otherwise super cute & comfy place!

I liked that it was close to the shops and places to eat in walking distance.

All the rooms are individually owned which means they are all different. It’s a toss up if you will get a nice room or not. Our room didn’t even have a shower curtain! Blinds were missing and some lamps wouldn’t turn on. Room was dirty and needed an update. Won’t be returning unless all rooms were remodeled!

location of the property was great for exploring. nice to have a full kitchen so didn’t have to eat every meal out.

the hot tub was not usable. one was extremely hot and both would burn your eyes if you turned the bubbles on from the high amount of chlorine. this is a known issue as the full residents of the facilities told us. this isn’t acceptable and is a safety issue.

Staff, staff, staff. They took acceptional care of us, especially when we got home from the hospital after my wife's emergency hip replacement surgery. This crew was very accommodating and we felt right at home. So happy to have had our vacation/recovery base at Plantaion Hale.

Our only critique might involve better maintained Lanai screen doors. Everything else was perfect!
