The location is the best.

The room is more than $400, but there is no air conditioning. I was shocked.

The facilities and activities provided were thoughtful and fun. There were more options than we had time to take advantage of. The nightly bonfire/s'mores, afternoon cookies, and morning treasure hunt (even though we didn't find it) were things we enjoyed everyday.

The temperature wasn't a problem with no AC but the room air would get stale very quickly with no way to move air around the room. We had some inconsiderate neighbors who would smoke outside our open window and exasperate the problem. Having a fan in the room would have really helped.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bonfires on the beach and complimentary cookies every day were our favorite

Amazing location and views. Plenty of parking. We were disappointed there was no AC in the rooms. The only way to cool them off seemed to be to have the front and back door open which wasn’t ideal and couldn’t do that at night while sleeping

Location was excellent, accommodation was perfect, we were given clean towels everyday although the bed was not made on our 2nd day, this did not detract from the experience. The cookies and hot chocolate were perfect. Great facilities and the map of the local area and what was available was invaluable. Thank you

Love the location so close to haystack, the awesome staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I loved the amenities and community events that they hosted. It was awesome!

Everything was great! The only thing is I wish there were dish cleaning items stocked in the room. I forgot to ask because I sure that would have been accommodated too.

Surfsand was an amazing resort. Our view of the ocean and Haystack Rock was so relaxing to wake up to and view throughout our stay. The beachfront patio was great, as was access to our beach, beach chairs available, nightly fires, and daily little extras, like cookies, tea, ice cream and beer and rootbeer tasting. We could easily walk to the downtown area for meals and shopping, as well as drive within 10 minutes of great hiking. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We didn't want our room cleaned during our stay, but we're able to exchange our towels and get toiletries from the housekeeping team.

The property does say it is non smoking, but there were definately several smokers that inconsiderately smoked at entrances and on the balconies.

Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had two rooms. One room was perfect. We were put in an ADA room for some reason. The room was very clean and comfortable but the hot water control for the bathroom sink was broken (maintenance came immediately to fix), one side of the mattress squeaked every time I turned over, and the shower head water flow was so low that it was hard to rinse the soap from hair and body. While the staff was polite, they were not personable. We were never asked if everything was ok.

We had a large suite with fireplace. The bed was especially comfy. This was our first time at this property and we loved it! Ocean front!
