Location was good but there were homeless near our room in the laundry area. Surprised it was a motel (not hotel).

We had a multi-day event to attend at UC Davis, and this place met our needs. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and clean, and there was ample free parking. We could see and hear the Amtrak train from our room window, but it didn't disturb us. If you are a light sleeper, the hotel provides complimentary earplugs. Breakfast is not included, but there is complimentary coffee and tea in the room as well as in the lobby. We also appreciated the water bottle refill station in the lobby. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within a short distance (walking or driving). Dutch Bros is right next door if you need your specialty coffee fix.

It would have been nice to have a continental breakfast included, but it was fine, as we knew beforehand that breakfast was not provided. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Clean and walking distance to downtown Davis. Right next to I-80.

Train can be annoying at times

I liked the convenience, it was very close to the freeway and my favorite part was the Dutch Bros Coffee just 400 feet away lol

The room had an odd old smell, the carpets weren't clean and neither were the walls.

VERY noisy, felt old and in desperate need of repairs/updating, no spa(no one even touched the pool), no continental breakfast despite plenty of room and what looked like displays for it that went unused and were empty, very unsafe feeling back “patio” that borders a auto repair shop and was unlocked, toilet clogged and needed plunging and they handed the plunger to me instead of having someone come do it, housekeeping staff loud in the am enjoying each other but still very loud.

No breakfast but great location very near town and within walking distance. Property very clean and well kept. Just off highway. Would definitely stay here again if needed.

Not the property's fault but there is a commuter train that goes through regularly as it's scheduled and on schedule certain trains like to toot their horn more than others. And yes it is loud enough to wake you up in the morning so don't plan on sleeping in unless you're a heavy sleeper. The inn does provide a set of ear plugs assumbably just for this occasion. Also there's a Dutch Brothers Coffee next door which is great as you can walk or drive over and get decent coffee but not so great if your room is on that side of the property as you can hear literally every order taken including the friendly greetings of certain employees.
