Rundherum okay, Personal hat sich super gekümmert, alles war da was man auch für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt benötigt. Sehr vielfältiges Frühstück, einfach optimal. Saubere und großzügige Zimmer mit Kühlschrank. Perfekt.

Freundliche Unterkunft in der unmittelbaren Nähe zum Strand. Altstadt mit Auto schnell erreichbar. Kostenfreier Parkplatz vor dem Hotel. Frühstück einfach und ok. Man fährt zum Essen am besten in die historische Altstadt.

Zimmer in der unteren Etage roch etwas feucht, ansonsten aber voll in Ordnung. Am besten nehme man sich ein Zimmer in der oberen Etage.

1. The breakfast space was very tight. There was very little seating. It was uncomfortable. 2. We did not enjoy the private balcony, over looking the ocean, as much as we thought we would. The highway A1A was between us and the ocean. We did not realize when we booked that A1A was going to be so busy and noisy. Very noisy. 3. Didn't try out the heated pool because the bottom was very dirty.

Lovely location facing the ocean just outside the heart of St. Augustine. Staff at night and in the morning were very helpful.

Wonderful location about 10 minute drive from downtown St. Augustine . Staff were very kind , accommodating and helpful. Delicious baked cookie treats at 5 o’clock everyday . The rooms were clean , comfortable beds , big size fridge to store your drinks and extra snacks , mini keurig coffee machine in the room , as well. Shower was comfortable and hot water was amazing . Nicely renovated property. We had a nice balcony to sit and relax with a glass of wine and friends, after a long day walk at downtown St. Augustine. Will gladly return again . Teli H.

Walls were somewhat thin . Luckily , neighbors were quiet and did not interrupt our sleep .

Nothing, it was a great deception.

Lack of friendliness since we arrived. I had to call the manager to clarify my charges, since they were trying to charge me again for parking and resort fees. Publicity is totally disingenous. It makes no sense to charge a resort fee for a small hotel in the middle of the beach. And Parking? Sounded a lot better than it was. rug was wet just below the A/C. Look to the beach was a sandbar blocking everything (and the beach is across the street). Shower controls were badly installed (very hot where it indicated cold, and viceversa).

The property is good very clean in front of the beach good staff very helpful and kind with breakfast and you have coffee all day and cookies and popcorn after 5 pm very convenient for hungry children

I would like that they expand a little bid where you get breakfast is so small with only a table inside I would take the wall off where they have the coffee machine do the little salon bigger for people that like to have breakfast inside everything else is perfect

The staff and manager are wonderful, However, the property was a big disappointment. False advertising is what this motel is all about. Top ten list??? Seriously? Tiny. Crowded with boxes stacked in corners. Looks like they just moved in yesterday. Musty odor. Sub standard facility and amenities. Cooperative, stand up manager deserves praise. In all honesty, we checked out before we checked in.

Seriously, just book now! Before booking I honestly thought this place was too good to be true... But it is true. Location is spectacular literally steps from the beach. And it's not a crappy crowded beach covered in trash -- it's beautiful and private and perfectly taken care of. The room was great especially with a little private patio. Checkin was speedy and so friendly even on busy Thanksgiving Eve and they had cookies and popcorn which the kids loved after a long car ride! They were very friendly and accommodating about our dog (big dog too!). And all for less than other hotels in the area. We will absolutely be back!

I wish the extra fees (parking, pet) were disclosed earlier in the checkout process, but, even with those fees it was cheaper than other hotels in the area so it wasn't a big deal.

Misrepresented on Booking.com. Property is an older motel with some renovations done. Our room was advertised as a King Suite but it was a normal room with a couch that blocked the entry into the room. They also charge additional for parking even though the parking lot is part of the property. I received an email from the manager saying they would refund the parking if I posted a good review and sent him a screenshot. No wonder the place is misrepresented!!

Extra fees for parking at a hotel that is relatively secluded doesn't sit right with me. Room 210 had a comfortable bed but was in need of plumbing repairs for the shower/bath and had a strong humid odor.

The parking is not included in the rate and the first thing they told me was to book directly with them next time to avoid that rate. This was not my first time in this hotel and even when I can’t say the experience this time was as good, this time the staff was not friendly at all and the comment about booking directly with them, for me, was entirely out of place, mostly cause I was just arriving at the hotel

As our family has done a lot of traveling over the last 45 days due to the passing of my dad, the last thing anyone experiencing such loss wants to deal with is hotel drama. From booking to check-out to location, Ocean sands beach Inn eliminated any hotel issues a family could possibly expect. The facility is beautiful, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms are beautiful, and the location- You can’t get much better than right across from the ocean!

The only thing I will change when I book our next stay, is the floor we stay on, and how many nights we stay. I can only imagine how amazing the view is from the balcony above the 1st floor, where the view from the 1st floor is already incredible, and 1 night just wasn’t enough!

The atended charged me $17.03 fot the parking besides what I had paid to booking.com, which I thought was wrong.

The view from the balcony was beautiful. It was an easy walk across the street to the beach. The room was clean. I was surprised to have a bigger refrigerator with a freezer in the room. There was even a small dining table in the room! Every single staff member we met, from the housekeeping staff to the front desk staff, was exceptionally helpful and nice.

Carpet in the room really needs to be replaced, or at the least shampooed. Microwaves in each room would be appreciated, rather than one per floor.

The pool was open all night long.

No elevator to the second floor.
