The term beyond expectations may seem like a cliche but this place was truly beyond our expectations. That’s probably because neither the pictures nor the description do it enough justice. For a family like ours, looking for some secluded time away from the crowds of other attractions along the Turkish Mediterranean coast like Antalya, this villa was simply perfect. It had enough rooms for the five of us (three kids and two parents) with a good sized garden and pool. The pool looks rather small in the pictures but it’s a decently good size and we spent much of the time in and around it. Thanks to Aydin who came early every morning and made sure that it’s immaculately clean. Should you want to go out for some activities Gokce offers plenty of sightseeing on boat tours, diving etc. The many restaurants along the marina offer a lot of options. Though one might not go to Gokce for its beaches, Calis beach located about 12 miles is worth a visit. If you drive a little further the Oludeniz beach offers one of the most beautiful blue waters and wonderful paragliding experience. In our previous vacations we mainly stayed in the Belek area which definitely has better beaches but if it’s a family time you’re looking for, then Gokce is your place. In general we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the villa and we would definitely stay there if we happen to go to Gokce again.

Thanks David and Ronnie, we had a great time staying in your villa. The house and pool were immaculate and perfect for spending a week chilling in peace. Pretty much every morning and evening we walked the 5-10mins into Gocek town itself to get breakfast or dinner. Food was very reasonably priced and the waterfront location of most restaurants was stunning. Overall we absolutely loved the villa and area, and can't wait to be able to plan our return!

A well equipped villa with a lovely garden, in a beautiful setting. Perfect pool with lots of loungers and seating in & out of the sun.

This is a lovely villa located in a quiet part of Göcek but within a short walk to the sea front where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped, and the outside area is perfect for lazy days by the pool. We were 6 people (4 adults, 2 children) and at no point did it feel crowded. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This was our third visit to Gocek and we had another wonderful holiday. The villa was clean, comfortable and very well equipped with a beautiful, peaceful garden and pool - we loved it. Ideally located, when we managed to drag ourselves away from the villa, it was less than a 10 minute walk into the centre of Gocek with its great selection of restaurants (you really are spoilt for choice), cafes, shops and bars. David, the owner, also kindly helped us organise pick ups for airport transfers and a car hire for part of our holiday. We had a relaxing holiday, totally stress-free. Bliss. Can't wait to return!

We had a lovely relaxed week in magical surroundings, everything in the villa worked perfectly and gaining access was nice and stress free due to key safe in the porch. The spacious outside areas are perfect for relaxing and wildlife spotting add to that a scrupulously clean pool and five minute stroll into the very friendly town of Gocek it made for a brilliant holiday. Great location lovely spacious villa could just have done with a little TLC on the pool area, clean pool grids a good clean of the sun beds and cushions but overall a lovely place to stay

The villa was fantastic, very clean, everything worked and an ideal location for a short walk down to the marina and restaurants. We were there at the end of the season so was very quiet, and an ideal place to relax which is exactly what we wanted. We had regular visitors from the local cat population, but they were no trouble at all. My only comment (and its small) is the pool is very deep for small children so just be a little careful. We would definitely come back.

Great location for the town. Comfortable house well equiped. Lovely garden looking at the forest watching the birds. Kitchen well equiped should you feel the desire to cook. Varied resturants in Gocek,excellent meal at Can restaurant and super steak at the mosaic. Quiet friendly town no loud music bars (west was the only one a little loud for our taste) property was clean and excellent contact with the owner.Pool is all one depth. Would stay again, minor critisism shower heads needed descaling with the water to get them to work.A little tlc maybe to fix the broken wardrobe door freshen up the onsuite,but minor minor. Great stay again.

Good location easy walk into Gocek. Well equiped kitchen should you feel the desire to cook. Beautiful garden an view into the forest.Steps down to the villa so take a torch the last step is hard to see.Pool all one depth. Shower heads could do with a little limescale removal shower head in main bathroom didnt work until we gave it a good scrub,due to the water.Villa was clean and tidy conact numbers are on the fridge if needed.Gocek has lots of charm plenty of restaurants and the sunday market always a good morning out. We have stayed twice at this villa and would stay again. The response from the owner is always quick and can arrange transfers if required. Gocek is a short journey from the airport but you have no noise at all. Highly reccomnd Gocek and palm Villa.

Our 2nd stay at Gocek Palms villa, 5 years on and it was everything we remembered about our first stay: wonderful villa with everything you need, amazing location, fantastic pool and chill out area and gocek is still as wonderful as ever. A few new additions to the villa made the stay even more like a home from home with Apple TV and WiFi installed and the extended outdoor space for that extra time in the sun a welcome addition. Would we come back again ? Absolutely!

We like Gocek and have stayed many times, this is by far the best villa we have stayed in, as well as the owner Dave is a pleasure to deal with nothing was too much trouble. The villa has everything you need for like us a couple or a small family. Inside the villa is spotless and tastefully decorated, its location is ideal only being 5 to 10mins walk to the restaurants and shops, Dave also arranged transport from the airport to the villa which all went smoothly. The only negative would be the bbq I enjoy cooking and did all the cooking inside which was not a problem but there is a lovely bbq area at the end of the garden let down by a very small rusty bbq. Bar that it was perfect for our stay and will certainly book again when we visit Gocek again. Simon and Tracy Hodgkiss

As a couple we had a great 12 days in the villa surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature yet close to the centre. This was our first return to Gocek for 12 years and we couldn't have picked a better property! The pool was clean and inviting and the villa was very comfortable and relaxing. The hosts are helpful and accommodating and so are the Gocek locals. Lots of information is provided in the villa to get you started. The Villa was perfect for our stay, well equipped, very nicely decorated. In an ideal location for the many shops, restaurants, bars and the Sunday market. Lovely and peaceful with a beautiful garden to enjoy, as well when having a barbecue. Perfect veranda area always in the shade with a casual seating area, although far too low for me to use (arthritic knees!), there was a separate table and chairs. The villa felt very private and tranquil yet an easy stroll to the supermarket, centre and marina. Villa was spotless, pool area and garden was attended to most days. Great communication with the owner before our holiday who very kindly arranged the airport transfers, which went like a dream. Loved every minute and returned home feeling very well rested and wouldn't hesitate to return.

Villa garden is very colourful. Close to Sunday market and easy walking distance to town.good size for 4 adults and great for 2 . Pool all one depth so younger children or short adults take care 😁.kitchen compact but lacked nothing and the contact from owners was always prompt.

This was our first return to Gocek for a number of years as we wanted a quiet week to relax, enjoy the sun, eat good food and enjoy the location. (We remembered Gocek to be quiet and picturesque). We were not disappointed and the Villa made the holiday perfect. The Photographs do not do the Villa justice, part of its beauty is the location and the ambiance of the garden, pool and the fragrance of the flowers when sat there in the morning and evening. The area of the Villa is quiet with a 10 to 15 minute stroll to the waterfront and Marina. Yes part of the walk was along a 250 yard section of small hard core beaten road surface but this was no problem for us, it was lit and we watched the bats and listened to the crickets singing......The pool is cooling, a good size and the surrounding pool area covers wherever the sun went. Breakfasts under the shade are holiday memories. Gocek, its waterfront and Marina is picturesque and perfect to stroll around. The restaurants are excellent and spoil you for choice as to where to eat. No sports bars or loud music here. The Villa owner David was always available by e-mail or phone offering advice and answering questions. The arranged Airport transfer by air conditioned Mercedes was also faultless. Our whole experience was excellent and we intend to return next year. I have no hesitation in recommending this Villa.

We had a wonderfully relaxing holiday in the Lockwood's lovely villa in Göcek. We have been staying at villas in the area for 12 yrs and thoroughly enjoyed this one. I expected an estate of villas but it is one in a street and feels v private with great pool area and veranda and well tended garden. The views of the mountains are spectacular and restful, just what we were after but the best part is that it is just a few minutes straight walk into the centre of town with all the shops, restaurants, bars. Göcek has boats to serve every need and shld u want a beach, the bus is v cheap & takes u to Inlice beach (clean, well looked after & great cafe) in 5 mins. Our fave restaurant this year has been Guverte next to the Skopia marina but Blue has been a long term fave too & there are many more to try. The Lockwoods have been so helpful and accommodating and we intend to return next year. Thanks David & Ronnie

We (2 adults, 3 kids) had a great 13 night stay at the Lockwood's villa. The villa itself was really nice and very clean throughout. The location was fantastic, about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Gocek, but quite secluded with views from the front towards a forest and to the mountains to the left. Pool was a decent size, but the same depth everywhere (about 5 feet) so wouldn't be ideal for non-swimming kids. Air conditioning throughout, which was essential at night in August. Kitchen was well appointed with all the utensils etc that you'd need. Lounge was pleasant although we mainly sat in the lounging area outside. No aerial or satellite connections to TV, but plenty of videos. Also no wifi, but most of the bars in Gocek have that. We'd definitely go back to this villa if we ever returned to Gocek.

Gocek Palms is an attractive, well-maintained Villa in a peaceful area of the small town of Gocek. This well-equipped Villa is just a short 20 minute transfer from Dalaman airport and has everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The Villa has lovely garden area, ideal for our two young boys, and a shady chill-out area which was perfect for a relaxing day by the pool. This was our second holiday in Gocek, we like the fact that it's not too busy and has an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and a beautiful Marina all just 5 minutes walk away. We found Dave and Ronnie, the owners, really helpful and there is lots of useful information in the Villa about places to visit etc. should you need it. All in all a wonderful stay and we'll certainly be back in future.

We arrived at the villa and it was just what we had hoped, if not even better ! Quiet location, beautiful villa, absolutely spotless and very well appointed. Our little boy (aged 3) spent the whole holiday jumping in and out of the pool. (as did his Dad!). The pool and outside living area is amazing and provides much welcome shade when it gets too hot. Gocek village is perfect. A 10 minute walk down the hill (with a pram) to as many diverse restaurants you can choose from. The marina is stunning and we loved watching the yachts with a nice cool pre dinner drink. The communication from the owners is first class. From initial enquiry through to payment, ideas for car rental, places to go, a warm welcome greeting to a return home message, nothing was too much trouble. We cannot recommend the villa, location or owners highly enough. We definetely hope to return.

Just returned from two weeks holiday at this lovely villa, one of the most relaxing family holiday's we have had for a long time. The villa is very well furnished, with a beautiful garden and pool. The little town of Gocek has real charm, with a very relaxed feel and great restaurants serving traditional Turkish and European food. I'd certainly hope we would be able to visit again in the future.
