Otherwise the stay was fine. No complaints for the very affordable price I paid.

The breakfast was the only part of my stay that I was disappointed with. The coffee was barely warm. The syrup bottle was empty even though no one was in the dining room (but they did bring out a new one eventually).

The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The cleaning staff was very polite and friendly. The check in staff was helpful.

Prices for days were different

Although it is a little off the beaten path it made for a quiet room

Upon registration we were asked to leave a $150.00 security deposit. I’ve been traveling for business for forty years both in and out of the country (USA). This is the first time I’ve been asked to leave a cash deposit. Upon departure the clerk actually went back to the room (or said he did) then returned and gave us our deposit back. My problem isn’t with the security deposit, its with not knowing up front to be prepared for it. Which would have made me choose another hotel.

The breakfast was adequate

The toilet would not fill with water and not flush There were stink bugs in the room when we checked into it. The water took forever to fill the tub for a bath

I am guessing this hotel was understaffed like many other places, but here are some things to improve on. Room needed a better clean. Ceiling lights were full of bugs. Window sill needed wiped down. A better storage solution is needed for the bigger towels, as they were located near the floor in bathroom. The appliances weren't in proper working order. Smell in room caused me to make a trip to Lowe's and purchase Damp- rid, odor absorbers, Lysol cleaner and paper towels. Whew. The good.... Staff was welcoming. Bed was comfortable and the room was a good size for the price. Pool was open. Breakfast was good. EVERY hotel in our area was completely booked for the weekend but for the price I would stay here again.

The location

Five guest 2 towels in the room. No bedding on the sofa bed. Pool smelled like a moldy pond

I liked the location and friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was good as well.

I didn’t like that there was no remote in the room. I moved the couch in the room and it hadn’t been cleaned under, there was debris and a lighter left. There was also food left behind the television screen.

The pool was awesome friendly people
