Clean room

Pool not heated, and very small. I chose this hotel for the pool. Front desk was absent with a sign saying thry stepped away from the desk. I used the phone next to the desk to call. No one answered the first time. The second time I called the guy came out, and was sleeping in back. Had no change for vending machines. 2 different drink vending machines would not make change and were sold out of everything. Front desk staff said vending machine on second floor. No vending machine on second floor. 3rd floor vending macine was broken and not working. One drink vending machine took my dollar and when I saw everything was sold out it only gave me 75 cents back. Homeless people were sleeping in lobby.

Third floor was being worked on, and hallway had definite sewer smell. Entry had overwhelming cleaner smell.

great location for SIU, breakfast is good also

needs a thorough cleaning; carpet dirty and just room details are not the best

I liked the location.

I did not like the room. The carpeted floors were riddled with stains. The toilet was unhinged from the floor, it rocked and flushed when I sat on it. The bedskirts on the bed were ripped. The shower panel was rusted. The refrigerator had ice surrounding the freezer. When I complained I was brushed off and my requests were ignored.

The staff were friendly and responsive. The location was totally fine. It was cheap. Check in and check out were simple. Parking was easy.

The hotel is very run down. It was very cold even with the air conditioner off. The ceiling in my room was stained, the carpet was ripped, some of the walls were stained, the tub and the toilet were scratched. The mini fridge in the room had a loud rattle.

hotel and room had a damp stale smell and windows were sealed so no fresh air. couldn’t get a taxi in Carbondale and Saluki were unhelpful. manager of Hilton by the station took us to the Best Western after his shift ended

Convenient for my final stop. Easy to get too

Was not very clean. Safety latch was very loose. Air conditioning leaked Furniture was very old and loose.
