the bed and shower were very comfortable. the furnishings, table and chairs, were good for working on laptops and sketchbooks. the lighting was ample. Parking was in front of the unit door. the sound insults good- no disturbing neighbor-noise., even from the nearby Hwy 101.

Unfortunately I booked due to having such a great experience last year, this year the room was really really dirty. I was honestly uncomfortable to sleep in the bed, not to mention they squeak with every movement. I got into bed after showering and all the dirt and crumbs on the floor was carried into bed on my feet. The bedding smelled stale and the room also smelled really stale. There's black marks all over the wall near the bathroom including foot prints of feet. Maybe it's just the room I got this time around but it definitely wasn't cleaned since the last people who stayed here.

The staff was friendly. The shower water pressure was good. It was relatively quiet despite being on busy road.

The shower water could have been hotter. More curtains would have been better to block outside light.

Outside our room #116 was a security light that just lit the room up…So bright! . We tried closing the blackout curtains, but no blackout curtains to be found.

The Westward Inn is clean, with a convenient location.

The Westward Inn is dated. It's seen better days. Everything feels very tired and worn. The bathroom was cramped, and all I could get out of the shower was lukewarm water. It's on the main drag, which, while convenient, means that there's a good amount of road noise.

Filthy sticky floors made my feet black! Dried toothpaste spit on the faucet, brown stains on the towels, almost no shower pressure, used coffee filter in coffeemaker ...hard to believe this dump has a AAA rating.

The bed was pretty comfortable and the Thai place across the street is actually quite good.

The location being right on 101 made it a bit noisier than I prefer. The carpet didn’t feel very clean to walk on.
