We were happy to support a local business, not a big chain.

the bathroom lacked hooks for hanging and a shelf in the shower for soap/shampoo. TV apps were not accessible. Tech guru needed to resolve. The bed was too soft.

Very cute property with comfortable rooms and a great location for Montrose and Black Canyon of the Gunnison. Friendly staff.

Rooms are small and the WiFi was slow. They have Roku TVs which was awesome but it took awhile to connect.

they need to be upfront on their $75 charge for a pet...it was not listed on any of their websites on "charge could be made"...it was a nice place to stay but don't take your beloved pet with you...The room was less than $100 with taxes but the pet charge was excessive.

The staff was so welcoming and friendly! As soon as I walked in I felt welcomed - we will be staying here anytime we visit Montrose or any city close by. Thank you so much for your kindness! The bad was very comfortable!

The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean.

I was awakened by pounding and drilling in the next room. When I complained that such work should be done after guests check out, their response was that their quiet hours were 10 pm to 6 am. I responded that every other hotel's quiet hours are when guests are present. Never had such a rude experience in eight solid months of travel mostly to Europe and Africa.

The choices of snacks and drinks. The staff is nice and friendly. Parking is right outside the room. Bed was comfortable.

The guy at the front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Because the rooms are detached from the lounge and office area I normally would just leave my room and get in my car. But every morning I ducked in to get a cup of coffee, maybe a snack. I was always greeted and encouraged to make myself at home. It gave me a little sense of community. Sounds strange but that's what I most liked about the place. Otherwise, the rooms are a bit small and maybe a little thing here and there. But I didn't pay much to stay here at all. Definitely got my monies worth.

The price was very reasonable and the room was comfortable. The parking lot makes it easy to park near your room and simplify loading and unloading luggage, which I had a lot of. The front desk staff were exceptional, helpful, very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The breakfast, snacks, and grab to go items exceeded my expectations. They have renovated most of the rooms, mine included, and are getting to the remainder of the rooms which should make the place even better.

I would like to have had a table or desk on which to place my computer as I was working at night. I was disappointed in the Internet TV selections.
