The reception area staff are friendly.
The eating facilities are truly dreadful. Hardly any choice, surly or stressed staff, unkempt dining areas full of rubbish.

I loved the staff. They were so friendly and willing to help us. Naya and Reynard were exceptional when interacting with us - a warm smile and a warm conversation made my stay there so much better.
The breakfast was too basic. The coffee was 'ok'. The dinner menu was nothing to get excited about. When sitting to the bar, having to watch the bartender run back and forth to cook in the kitchen took away from the bar experience.
The room could use a darkening shade, as the lights from outside shone in our room all night.
The in room coffee maker could use updating.

Deposit issue: The hotel management took the deposit from the credit card and did not release it. After 2-3 weeks, when I contacted, the usual response was “check your bank”. There was no issue with the bank, after a few email exchanges, suddenly I received my money. Obviously the hotel did not release the money.
Now the worst part is that the hotel management never even felt the need to say “sorry”. They simply went quiet.
So my advice is to carefully check if you get your deposit refunded or not.

Had no breakfast during my stay and really cannot give much feedback on that. Location looks so convenient. Room tidiness was excellent.
My check in date receptionist wasn't receptive but the night shift and morning shift team where incredible staff. Nice and clean hotel.

Very small and impersonal . Like a deli store. You come grab and go. It’s good for business and short stay.
The breakfast is embarrassing. It was included and you have to pick only 1 option on the menu. Either a yogurt parfait for example or an egg sandwich… no variety and from Starbucks machine lol

Shops and restaurants within reach . One can do real walking tour of the White House and the other tourist places from here
Parking is a constraint and expensive

Placeringen af hotellet er genial, i et roligt område, men stadig så tæt på byen, at man sagtens kan gå ind til centrum af byen. Der er fine og billige spisemuligheder i området.
Værelset kunne ikke luftes ud, da vinduer ikke kunne åbnes.
Temperaturen i badet svingede meget op og ned. Der var ikke altid varmt vand.

A Closed closet space would be great. Also they only serve Starbucks and if you are boycotting Starbucks you don't have other options in the hotel.
Desk needs to have universal electrical sockets, because usually people staying will be from outside the USA.

Noisy neighbors, very thin walls. Both nights we stayed, we couldn’t sleep due to loud neighbors partying and yelling.

1. It is interesting that every morning we woke up with bites on our whole legs and when we went to another hotel, nothing bit us there. It was very unpleasant because I would have survived it alone, but my little son and wife were with me. 2. Communication of staff. 3. The room was cleaned only every second day.

Perfect location for what we needed to do. The room was clean and modern. The staff was always welcoming and helpful. The lounge and restaurant area was very clean.
The elevators were a bit slow. That is all that was bad.

The location and facilities are good, and the breakfast is excellent but needs more patience to wait served.
Most of the staff are not very friendly except for a few receptionists. Personally, the service quality is not matched with the brand value of Marriott. They even didn't offer free bottled water.

Hotel located in quiet area, close to the White House and metro stations.
After very unpleasant encounter with staff during one breakfast (very impolite lady) and dirty cutlery I ate breakfast outside the hotel.

Staff inattentive, unfriendly, and unhelpful in resolving an issue about my bill. Room was not available on time. It was consistent throughout our entire 4 day stay.

I loved the location, the staff were amazing Richard the manager and Soncheree we exceptional. Also Imani helped me get around before I had a wheelchair. I had a bad fall and had to use a wheelchair for the rest of my trip. They ensured I had everything I needed and moved me to a wheelchair accessible room. Super impressed by their excellent level of service.

The hotel had problem with the sprinkler system and it flooded 3 floors. They did relocate us to a different hotel.
We had to switch hotels.
