Evelyn was delightful when we checked in! One evening we asked about the fresh baked cookies they sometimes have. Due to covid, they stopped this extra. But the clerk decided to give us a package of cookies - a nice, personal gesture!
Some front desk people don't understand customer service. Twice we were standing in front of the person waiting to ask a question, and instead of asking the phone caller to hold for a moment, they continued to ignore us. The person standing in front should take priority over the caller.

The entire hotel was nice. Staff was polite, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful and the ladies were great who was working in kitchen area.

The noise of the highway was noticeable and took some time to get used to. It effected our quality of sleep.

My credit card was used to not only book my room but also another guests room. Quite upsetting. I had to be the one to find the mistake and then wait for staff to figure out what they did. And then I had to ask for something to be done on my behalf for all the trouble. Then, I was finally comped one night.
