Location and Parking plus very nice staff
Shower floors slippery, no front door to hotel- elevator area should be more welcoming and better lighting. Elevators slow to parking area, ice only on 5th floor, no filtered water refill station, coffee at restaurant cold, due to all the furniture and fabric the hotel doesn’t feel clean.

Wow! To be shocked by a guest opening your door at 11 pm and then the staff knocking later to see if that was your room. Very inconsiderate since it was their error. And I had a HS age child with me for a college visit so a little unsettling to have someone open your door. I gave the hotel a chance to make it right but nothing for a week in response

Paying for parking and breakfast. No drinks, snacks or travel essentials sold. No room microwave or coffee pot (it was a tea kettle)

Very authentic hotel, you can feel the spirit of the college right from its doors. The staff was very helpful and accommodating, the rooms were new and clean.
The garbage service only per request.

Parking too cramped, direct tv sucks-kept giving blue screen and error right in the middle of watching. Elevators broken down.

The location is perfect for visiting State College. The room was super comfortable!
It would be good to have a mat for shower. It was very slippery. Also, a microwave would be nice to have in the room.

Location was great. Was able to park car and walk to every destination. Bed was comfortable.
TV channels were very limited. Some channels did not come in. Was able to get sport channels and 2 or 3 other channels. No news channels available.

I had stayed before at The Graduate State College and I enjoyed my stay very much, that's why I didn't hesitate to book again. The facilities are great. clean and comfortable and the location is exceptional. However, I couldn't enjoy them this time around because my flight was cancelled.
I tried reaching out to booking.com customer service and the hotel directly, and each one directed me to the other. I was asking for a change of dates or a partial cancellation fee waiver, and neither booking.com or the messages I sent to the hotel through the site were answered. I was instructed to call the hotel directly and all they said was that I should contact the booking site. This runaround kept going and even after multiple messages to the property through Booking.com, nobody from the hotel even read them/responded in any way (either positively or negatively regarding my request). All in all, the incredible experience I had the previous time has been tainted for the lack of customer service/support this time around when needed for the particular issue I had because of flight cancellations.
