The rooms were very artistically decorated.
Lack of amenities, I paid $600+ for two rooms for two nights, and for that kind of money, I expect air conditioning, not sub par box fans, and having to sleep with the windows open because it was hot, which in my book is a safety issue. Our room has electrical issues and 4 wall plugs shorted out, moving the box fan, the electrical started working again. They said they would send an electrician out, but did not because they thought it was the box fan. Electrical went out again the second night, and the fan was not plugged in. Obviously they have a short in their system, would have been nice if they had sent out the electrician to check it out, but they didn’t. My daughters room was on the lower level next to their industrial laundry room, her room got really hot like the heat was on and my husband theorized that the dryer vent was heating up that room. The bed was sagging and uncomfortable… someone obviously spent a lot of money artistically decorating all their rooms, but artistic decorations do not equate to comfort, and maybe they should have spent some money installing air conditioning units, and better mattresses. Would I stay there again… hell no… if I had known they did not have air conditioning I would never have booked rooms there. Also, there isn’t anyone on site, and the phone number they give you is for the owner, who was in Seattle, not Ocean Shores. They only provide room cleaning before you move in… that may have been acceptable during Covid, but not now, especially when my total bill was around $680, for two rooms for two nights.

The bed was very comfortable.
The room smelled musty, the shower water kept fluctuating from too hot to too cold, it took us about an hour to figure out how to work the Ruku TV. At night it got way too hot in the room and we couldn’t figure out how to cool it off. The pictures on the internet are deceiving.

The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were very soft! They accommodated our pup (for a fee of course), which was nice. The bathroom had updated furnishings.
We stayed in room 25. It was old, dusty (literal dust balls on the curtain rods and on the ceilings), and had a dank smell that permeated our clothes. Despite having both windows open, the smell persisted. There is no place to hang clothes; no hangers or closet was provided, and no iron. There was a film of hair on the ledge in the bathroom, and hair on washcloths- it wasn’t ours! There was no one to ask for more towels or clean washcloths, so we made do. We had trouble with the door locking and staying locked- but after some finagling my husband figured it out.

The room is clean and cute. Free laundry room and office area.
The walls are not vapor-proof. When neighbors moved in next door I could smell their coffee brewing, their use of the bathroom, cigarettes, their disdain for soap, and dog poop. The staff slams the door on your head constantly since room 9 is next to the laundry center that runs all day. The rooms are not to building codes. Exterior items used indoors without vapor barriers. What happens when an allergic person smells peanut butter? I left on my final night after begging housekeeper to quit slamming the door. They refunded my last night and i left.

Communication with the property host was via text and they replied when I texted them.
I didn't like that there was no front desk or staff on site. We didn't like that the room smelled musty. We didn't like that the pictures on the website made the rooms and the property look MUCH better than in real life. We didn't actually end up staying the night and we notified the property that we didn't want to stay because the room smelled musty. They offered to have the housekeeping person spray in the room to help with the smell, but it was more of an issue that would require a whole different room and not just a spray so we called a different hotel and booked from the Wanderlust room and left right away. I did communicate with the property manager and they ended up refunding 70% of our booking, which was very nice.

The location was fine. Central to the area.
Very few amenities. If you are looking for anything beyond a box and a bed look elsewhere

It was better than I expected and the room was very clean and comfortable.
The staff was pretty responsive but I would have liked if there was an onsite person.

Spacious and two sleeping areas
It was kind of dated, but it was clean, comfortable and in a great location. The lock to get in and out was a little fussy.

we rented the “holiday home” the 2 bedroom apartment (the barracuda) with 3 bedroom apartment (captain’s quarters) for Xmas. The affordable price was #1 for us! Extra supplies available in a different room, the to go coffee cups worked well for toddlers as there was no plastic cups in either space. immediate response when we had difficulties with keyless entry codes from local staff and manger bus phone and it was the day before Xmas eve! enough dishes, casserole dishes were needed and appreciated! pots, pans, but needs mixing bowls. Nice toiletries, plenty of towels, bedding, cleaning supplies if needed. Decorated nicely with added touches.
no plastic kid friendly cups, only wine glasses, was happy there was paper cups with lids in supply unit. down stairs (barracuda room) 2 bed apt needs water filter or filtering pitcher. the water out at ocean does have an odd taste if your not used to it. Because we had both units upstairs had a water filter faucet but we needed a pitcher of some sort so we used the coffee craft and hot water kettle to improvise. No tips on pool cues but one, that needs resolved asap since the pool table was a big social activity. Upstairs loft 2nd tv required a Roku account that required putting our credit card info in so we didn’t get to use. the tv main area had basic cable which was good. funky layout downstairs didn’t bother us at all but definitely recommend better pictures that reflect this. Mixing bowls are needed in both spaces.

close to home-needed a change of scenery
Parking at unit #9 was tricky. Not much room to work with

Good-size room with plenty of towels. It's clean and had a nice clean smell. Keyless entry is nice.
Parking is limited. Heard banging noise at night, like workers on the roof or moving furniture, although our unit was ground floor. Noise outside and nextdoor easily heard inside our room; sound barrier/ insulation needs improvement. No fan in the bathroom. Needs brighter light for reading on the bed.

The Pike Hospitality Group sent very good instructions on how to access the hotel room because there is no staff on the property. The room did meet our needs and the beds were very comfortable. We were happy that there was a mini-fridge, microwave and keurig in the room.
Since this is a refurbished property, not everything was updated so don't be surprised by the pink sink and tub. We were disappointed that the outdoor space was very minimal so we could not congregate outside except on the benches outside the room.

The beds were comfortable.
Need assigned parking. 1 slot for each room.
