Nothing at all
ZERO STARS WOULD BE TOO MANY STARS!
This hotel had clearly been used to house the homeless during the pandemic and was left in filthy ruins. The rug in my room was heavily stained and grimy. Every surface was stained and/or cracked and peeling. EVERY SURFACE. The drawers were trashed and unusable. The entire place smelled awful. So much so that taking the elevator was tortuous. The room smelled so badly I was afraid the odor would cling to me when I left. The drapes were riddled with (what I'm assuming are from cigarettes) tiny holes. The saving grace was the bedding seemed new and smelled of fresh laundry/bleach. I have never been in such a terrible hotel. I reserved 3 rooms for 2 nights and felt trapped by this terrible, expensive mistake. DO NOT STAY HERE. IT IS TRULY HORRIFIC. I am still not sure I am conveying just how gruesome this experience was.

The room was nice, the people at the front desk were exceptionally NICE, helpful & kind. One person stands out - STEVE, he went above & beyond for us, VERY nice young man. He should be running the place ;-)
Honestly the bed was waaayyy to firm for us. Our backs were sore upon waking up. That was the only bad part about the entire stay.

the location was great for us as we were going back and forth between Roseville & Citrus Heights.
First, most of these hotels are older and someone has decided they need to put a cloyingly sweet and noxious freshener in the ir circulation system. It is ghastly. Most awful thing is that you must go to the front desk and ask for each and every kitchen item. We chose this hotel because we wanted a kitchen facility. They don't even supply coffee pot, cups and coffee nor bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner). Motel 6 is better than this and the breakfast is a joke. I have given this chain 4 tries and now it is over. Their staff is the only saving grace.

Staff was friendly.
There were bugs in my room. Flying gnats, when I told the staff they said oh they are back again.

Being close to grandson.
Stale air in room despite A/C, 1 window couldn't close, smelly elevator, no ice machine, breakfast not up to par.

Location
Cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The heater/air conditioner had vents that were dusty and the unit never put out warm air, just room temperature, even though we had it set for 80 degrees. Didn’t have coffee in room.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. They checked us in early which was nice.
Room was not very clean. Bathroom was pretty gross with yellow stains on the ceiling, pink mold around the tub drain and scattered hairs. The rest of the room was ok, beds were not very comfortable. It was good for the price but you get what you pay for. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel on a 1-2 star budget.

Room was spacious. The little kitchenette allowed me to make my own healthy meals. Oh and the coffee in the morning was hot and fresh
The beds were extremely hard and caused my hip implant to ache unceasingly. I even bought a foam mattress topper and folded it in half and it still did not help at all.

Good location
The place was so dirty we asked for a new room. The second room was cleaner but still not clean. It was so late to change hotels

Unfortunately nothing
Rooms were totally due for a upgrade and our room was supposed to be non-smoking and it definitely smelled like someone had smoked in there. Carpets were so dirty it was gross walking bear footed, in bathroom there was small hairs on the counter and on the floor, Nasty! I had booked a kings size suite and they gave us a queen size and the worse of it was the front desk guy didn't even tell us when he was checking us in that they were over booked on the king size suites.

Nothing, dirty room dirty bedsheets dirty bathroom, a fan in the bathroom was on with no way to turn it off and there was black mold in side the open vented fan. There was an opened soap on the counter. The smoke detector was beeping and remote did not work.
It seemed to me that no one had cleaned the room and wasn’t in use in awhile. Not sure why I was subjected to paying for a room like that. Honestly worse place I have EVER stayed.

Breakfast was simple, but good, nice rooms, and overall a great location in Roseville
We never seem to get any Big Shower towels when we check in, only small washcloths and it takes us asking over 5 times and maybe a day or two in order to receive the towels. It seems as though in most cases when you need assistance at the front desk no one is s available to help you, this goes on for upwards of 20 min. On the bright side they do have one of those little courtesy bells that you tap to let workers know you're waiting up front.

I liked that the entire room was covered in floor laminate.
1. I didn't like that the exterior and interior of the entry way was filthy; there were obviously, pet droppings and urine stains on the concrete, the lobby was small uninviting and smelt musky with a hint of still cigarettes. I especially didn't like that there was no concierge at the front counter instead I was met with a handwritten note asking me to be patient as there was only one person on staff and it was that person's lunch break. I arrived at the lobby at 4:57 p.m. and the note did indicate that the front desk attendant would not be back from lunch break until 5:40 p.m.
2. The elevator was cramped and looked like the laminate flooring had never been swept, mopped nor washed. There was sticky/tacky and black"gunky" buildup that was unmistakably noticeable.
3. The kitchen was the entry of the room. It had an L-shaped counter that crowded the walkway to the living space which made it difficult to move in our luggage. It was definitely too small a space to roll in the luggage cart. The kitchen was grimy, light covered laminate counters, cabinet surfaces, and the refrigerator had obvious goth marks and kicked on, dried, food splatters. The inside of the fridge looked like it had never been cleaned. The refrigerator shelves were glued in by spilled milk and there were stains from old curry dried crumbs and bits of shredded cheese in the door (I had to clean it out myself before placing my own food in it). Though there was a stove top range and microwave the facility did not supply any pots, pans, nor dining where.
4. The bathroom, as a matter of fact the bathroom door opened into the kitchen and if the bathroom door was open there was no way to access the sleeping area. There were no sparrow rolls of toilet paper on the counter, which was a problem because the toilet paper roll that was there ran out after two toilet visits. The sink and bathtub still had other people's hair in and around it.

Low rating because no one there to check us in and when called phone answered by recording saying busy so to hold. After several minutes on hold hung up and booked with another property nearby. Did find out from a housekeeper that manager had left for the day and no one could check us in. While trying to get service another person arrived to check in so shared with him that there's no service and another place nearby had rooms available.
Someone on property that could check us in.

Unfortunately, nothing.
I did not like this hotel. It was disgusting, loud, and smelled. I immediately left and booked another room somewhere else.

Location was reasonable. Easy access to main thoroughfares.
Room was not available at posted check-in time. Was told to come back 90 minutes later and still had to wait 30 more minutes for a "clean" room. Once in room, the "cleaning" that was done must have been done in the dark, because the bathroom (sink, toilet, & floor) looked as though it had been used as a barber shop and not cleaned up. 2/3 front desk staff were not apologetic of the delay and were in fact rude. I was told I can cancel my reservation and find another hotel if I wanted. Not one offer of any compensation for inconvenience or lack of professionalism or quality.
