I liked that it was close to the highway exit

I didn’t like that the pool is still not open still using COVID as the reason. I didn’t like that I was sweating all night because the a.c wasn’t working enough to get the room at least cool. AND I HATED THAT THE ROOM SMELLED AWFULL IT LITERALLY SMELLED LIKE A BAD CASE PF UNDERARM ODOR AS SOON AS YOU WALK IT THERE TO THE POINT THAT THE CLOTHES WE CHANGED INTO THE NEXT DAY CAUGHT THE SAME ODOR HAD TO GO TO WALMART ABOUT 9 exits from the hotel and buy outfits to put on .

Nothing fancy, but it was clean, breakfast was suitable, and a good value for a place to sleep while on a road trip. Also, there's a beach a close drive from the hotel.

Breakfast was satisfactory. Location was convenient to nearby events and restaurants but car needed to reach them.

Front desk felt almost hostile when checking in. It is very easy to be friendly. They said my booking was not accurate in terms of the number of guests. I then showed her the booking to prove that it was accurate. She was slow to help us with needs in terms of pillows and blankets. The phone had a button for Front Desk but it did not connect. When asked about this, she said we should have simply pressed zero on phonepad. There was no instruction to do this. There were also people sitting out in their cars smoking the funny stuff...not sure a good advertisement for the hotel.

DON’T STAY HERE. The added on “security” charge of $100 appears to be a way to scam patrons. We don’t smoke, yet the staff pounded on our door during the evening to essentially accuse us of smoking. We insisted the front desk inspect the room in our presence the next morning. We then requested a paid invoice showing the $100 credit, but we’re told they couldn’t do that before 8:00am. The receipt also never came by email as promised. After messaging the property again via Booking.com, the pending charges dropped from my account. Will continue to monitor my credit card. Really thin walls so close to the highway also meant it sounds like tractor trailers are driving through your room all night. Breakfast was pretty bad too. Lots of flour-based carbs and some rubbery eggs and sausage patties. One of the worst I’ve ever reserved via Booking.com.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The lobby had ample, comfortable seating. The parking was easy and close.

The pool was closed and the gym was closed.

we booked a king sized room bc that was all that was available. we were in town for my daughters college family weekend. I only booked for 2 bc I thought my older daughter would not be able to come but in the end could (last minute). my 2 daughters decided that after they went to a party they would come stay with us 🤗 I left one of my keys w/the front desk lady and asked her to give it to my daughters when they arrived. she said that we only booked for 2 people but she wouldn’t charge us for the others. well, when my daughters arrived (after a shift change) the man told them that they weren’t allowed up to the room and refused to give them the key! mind you, these are 18 & 20 year old girls, did he expect them to sleep in the parking lot? they took an Uber to the hotel! luckily my daughters were smart enough to not argue, they just came up to the room and knocked. the next night we came back to the hotel and neither of our keys worked! such a hassle. we returned to this hotel after being there the year prior (to visit the college) and were happy with it but this stay was a disaster!
