You are absolutely paying for proximity. The location of the hotel is close enough to Notre Dame to walk or take a quick taxi ride. But, that is all you are paying for. While I appreciated the ease of check in and check out, along with text updates, I was sorely disappointed by everything else.

Everything about the hotel was less than ideal. For the price paid, I did not expect stained carpets, open ceiling tiles, vacant rooms with doors chained shut. The price gouge it purely because of the proximity to Notre Dame and I feel duped. I would not recommend this location to anyone looking to stay close to campus.

Remodeling. Poor quality accommodations. Dirty rugs. Inedible free breakfast. Very poor value for the amount charged.

Location and staff was great.

Fan for AC was very loud and noisy over night. Also, blow dryer didn't work and I really needed that. When I asked for a replacement, I didn't get one in time for our departure.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Property management was very accommodating to my parents senior needs. The rooms comfortable and clean. No swimming due to storm causing structural damage. Healthy breakfast and lots of restaurants and shopping in walking distance.

Everything, very rundown facility. There were stains all over the room and walls. The carpet was stained and bubbled up. This place should be shut down!!

The location.

There were several HOLES in the bedroom wall and also in the bathtub. The hotel was not clean including the elevator. The large flower containers outside the entrance contaied only weeds.
