No welevator and the steps were not the easiest to navigate.

The location was perfect for us and Lucy, our family poodle. The staff was so friendly and pets get the red carpet treatment. Lucy even got a squeaky toy from the ladies working!
Mexican restaurant next door was delicious and prices were reasonable.

Breakfast was ok - We just needed a little something to start our day. It was sufficient and the staff was friendly and quick to refill and keep a clean area.
First impressions are important... Our first view on entering the hotel showed dirty carpets at entrance. No offer to assist with luggage even when they saw us struggle with luggage and "cart"- other than desk staff asking if we wanted to use the laundry carts ?! Really!? But even by then, we were almost done by carrying in what wouldn't fit in the small very old cart on which luggage slipped off or would almost slide off. Also, the $50 for incidentals was not returned or even offered when we checked out - were too busy with other customers. Though they did adjustments days later. The rooms were satisfactory but if we had arrived earlier we might have cancelled and moved to another hotel due to first impressions and lack of help. We were on a long road trip and were just too tired to get into it all. Overall it was a good stay - for the three rooms we booked for three days, though we were gone during the days for Mt Rushmore and other sites which made it all worth it.

Breakfast was hot, healthy, filling and the breakfast lady was super nice. She kept breakfast bar filled, clean and was very helpful assisting my children with waffle range. As was the front desk.
All was great. Other then by no means your staff or hotels fault. Your staff attended to it quick and professionally.

The breakfast was not so great. I'm not sure what kind of eggs you serve, but they are unlike anything I have ever seen. Nasty.
Also having to request a room clean up every day was a hassle. I paid for those services so I shouldn't have to request them daily.

All the staff was really nice. No problem with my late check in. Hotel was close to all of the places we wanted to visit. Going to recommend this to other family members when traveling. Also what kind of blankets were those? I want some for my home. Even my husband was impressed!!
Our bathroom fan didn’t work, not a deal breaker, just made it awkward.

The pool was fantastic, and I appreciated that they had free hot breakfast.
The water is too soft and the soap is too watery, so I still felt grungy after every shower.
