The proprietors were not friendly or welcoming.

It was a nice single story old time motel.
The price for what it was. The lack of amenities. The contential breakfast that consisted of stale store bought cookies.

A bit tired of the hotel/motel chains, was fun to talk with people who actually are making a family living out of this industry.
Would like to have had a larger freezer compartment in the fridge but then didn't expect a kitchen anyway.

Good value. I liked the amenities
Walls were very thin. I had a neighbor that was loud until 1am and probably not something they thought they were doing wrong.

Attractive, unique, convenient.
Small blankets -- we are used to a small bed, we have an antique double bed at home but the sheet and blanket barely covered both of side to side. There are very few surfaces to place belongings, we used the chairs as tables since they're not very comfortable to sit on. People should know there is some airplane noise but very few planes over all and not in the evening, overnight or early morning.

the location
the owner charged more money than the booking price. the owner shut off the air conditioner if you were not there even with a do not disturb sign on the door.

Angry Russian workman yelled at me for brushing some snow off my car onto the parking lot. After I stopped and said I wouldn't do it any more, he told me that I didn't understand. He came close, pointed to the snow ploughed at the edges of the lot. He told me several times I could take as much as snow I wanted, but not to put any more into the parking lot. Because I had read reviews and this guy, it made me uncomfortable and threatened.

Simple but cozy place with flower beds in the front and comfortable room with small fridge . Feel it’s somewhat overpriced but it is a holiday weekend. Very clean. Pillows could be improved upon but so do most pillows in motels !!

The air-conditioning heat unit was very loud and will wake you up. Would not stay in that room again.

It's a motel, so you are getting what you pay for. It's cheap, no-nonsense lodging, so perfect if you are stopping through and just need a bed. We stayed on our way out to Crested Butte to beat the snow and it did the trick.
Rooms were musty, so if you have allergies they may act up.

Cute, older motel with nice grounds and very clean rooms. Loved the small stove, refrigerator and sink for dishes. Internet was good.
Some road noise, but not much. It was easy to sleep.
