Rundown but clean. Beds are not the most comfortable but I’ve slept on worse. The shower had great pressure.

There were NO LOCKS ON THE WINDOWS. We slept in our ground floor room without incident - thank god - because next morning we discovered neither window had locks on them. The hardware was completely missing. The windows opened easily to the outside. At that point I just counted myself extremely lucky and couldn’t wait to get out.

Very good location. Good beds. Rooms are good sized and have been updated.

Grab and Go Breakfast is all that is offered.

Very clean. The bed was so comfortable. Shower had great water pressure/temperature.

The artwork in my room didn’t line up and was crooked. Drove me nuts. Even tried to fix it but it was securely fastened to wall. Room 218 at the Bangor, ME location. You’ll know what I mean when you see it 😂 I’ll share a picture as well. Please fix it!🙏

Rooms had an old smell and saw roaches in the rooms .

Front desk lady on check in was ignorant. When she saw we booked on line was completely unhelpful. We have three people with severe disabilities. All rooms on second floor and no elevator. One couple simply can not do stairs so after some extensive pressure she moved them to a pet suite. She would not refund the difference in price saying we booked on line no changes. There room had a distinct bad odour and not from pets. The 3 other couples our rooms were except-able but far from spotless. When you book rooms for 4 couples and everyone is disappointed it makes you feel horrible. Oh and the breakfast is a brown lunch bag. Howard Johnson not acceptable!!

The pillows on the king bed could be better. longer and fluffier
