Great location for road trip to Acadia

Pretty view of the river, parking was great. The woman at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. Our room was roomy and clean. The nightly rate was so low that I was worried about what it would actually be like - it was much nicer than some of the well known hotels we’ve stayed at. great experience overall.

Very clean. The owners are very nice and accommodating and my view of the Penobscot river from the deck was awesome

I was on the upper level and I prefer the lower level. However it wasn't due to Management's fault as that's all that was available when I booked the room.

So homey and comfortable, exactly what I was looking for! Suite was quite - no noise from other rooms (inside and out). Everything was clean and we had everything we needed for our stay!

Parking was a little confusing, we were able to park next to the building but saw other cars parking in areas that made coming in and out of parking lot a little challenging. Some parking stripping would help direct people where to park and allow more room for everyone.

Close to Orono (University of Maine) and next to beautiful river.

Mattress on double bed needs to be replaced.

Quaint, clean motel along the river. Convenient location to UMaine.

I love how clean eveything was. They also upgraded our room at no extra cost to us.

I liked everything

The hotel rooms were spacious. We got a double room suite with a small living area, kitchenette and dining. The balcony opened onto pines trees and the river at the back, which was truly beautiful, especially in the morning. The lady at the reception was super nice. Once we checked in the room, she called up to inquire if everything was fine and if we needed anything. Thanks for this subtle caring touch.

There was no breakfast. But there's a Dunkin and other places nearby. Price was also a bit on the higher side but considering that it was peek tourist season, I considered lucky to even get a place to stay at the last moment.

Milford Motel On the River is a lovely place, with amazing views over the Penobscot River in a very peaceful location. I arrived early before check-in time but the host was very accommodating and she also gave me a free upgrade! The staff go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything. The location is also great - away from the noise but close to everything. Thank you!

Very homelike motel

The room was clean, spacious, and had a large bathroom as well! We had a balcony in our room with a great view of the river. It felt very welcoming and cozy.

It got a little warm as there wasn't great air circulation.

The view from the balcony is magnificent and the suites have alot of room. The staff is wonderful and some of the nicest people ive had the pleasure of meeting. It is quiet and peaceful. They also have laundry machines on site which helped alot.
