Great location...easy to walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Beautiful old house with wood floors and period furniture pieces. Staff comes in and out during day so no one is there all the time. I just leave a note on the desk for more towels or other needs.

coffee pods with dry packets. fresh cream or even liquid cream pods would have been nice. no desk in the room which made it hard to work. check out was strange - no one there, call a # that had nothing to do with the hotel, leave key.

No breakfast, not even a pre-wrapped cake or banana. Very bad attitude from the lady at the front desk. She never appeared when we left, staying in her lazy chair in another room. People like her give Appalachicola a bad name. We won't be back ...☹

I had a much different room than was shown on the picture. My room was smaller with only a rickety chair plus the bed. I no real place to sit down except for on the bed.

The parking was convenient. We had an assigned spot. The bedding linens were comfortable.

The entire property seems to be in disrepair and run down. The light switch in our room did not work at all. My husband was able to stand on the bed and turn on the fan, but the light never worked. I would have complained, but there was no one at the front desk, and accoring to reviews I have read now, it wouldn't have mattered. There is a review complaining about that light almost 2 years ago. We had no control over the room temperature and the floor vents were dusty and clogged. The bathroom sink did not drain properly and the floors everywhere were dirty and gritty. The shower head was so low my husband had to almost squat down to wash his hair. The blinds would not close so we closed the curtains but with the room facing the road it was bright in the room all night. Even by the front desk area the furniture was dirty and broken, chairs were sagging and there was no breakfast. There was no one at the desk when I went to check out, even though it was during the posted times. Overall, it was dingy and in disrepair and way over priced for the condition of the facility.

Breakfast has been discontinued. Great location. Room was clean with good amenities.

No elevator. Would have preferred aground floor accommodations.

dirty and the the place was not what the show on the internet or on Booking. We booked a room according to pictures on the internet. Pictures are the best thing about this place. We did not stay our last night because it was loud and really not what we paid for!!!!

Comfortable bed. Good size room. Great location.

Standard of cleanliness very poor throughout, but particularly in the bathroom. See photos below. No cleaning of room during stay unless requested. No breakfast, even though advertised as a B and B. Surely a wrapped muffin or croissant is possible. No temperature control in the bedrooms. No common area for guests to use. Rarely saw any staff during our 3 day stay except in a large room behind the check in deck desk watching TV and eating. This could be a lovely property, but until standards are significantly raised, look elsewhere for accommodation.
