It has a few stores and restaurants near by.

I didn’t like the almost all used toilet paper used by someone else, nor did the hairs still on the rotted looking toilet lid seem hospitable, especially when they say they still enforce CoVid regulations. The bathroom floor hadn’t been mopped in a while from the stains that were there when I arrived. Also, the door does not have an operating lock out mechanism, the key card is the only form of lock.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HOTEL. ABSOLUTELY %100 scammers. Made booking for first night,. On arrival told by Owner Male that a pet deposit or room deposit would not be needed because I was using my credit card. I decided to stay over for a night, everything went okay. Made my res on the app, everything was good. Then I decided to stay a third night.. went on the app to make the res. Made the res as I had done the previous two days. Went to office window to check in as I had the previous two days. Now all of a sudden I had to leave the room and come back at 1 pm. In 114 degree weather. Then when I came back at 1 pm. I needed to pay $20 for a pet which is fine but then $150 CASH deposit . I didn't have that cash on me. I asked to be refunded, they told me to call booking.com. Booking.com had them issue the free cancelation. But they never did. They literally charged my card 11.00, from 92 to 103 and then charge my card twice.. I have four transactions all debiting my account,. They tell me to send them proof, lol. Wow! Safari Motel is trying to bate you in with booking.com rates then try to make some more on top.. Scam

it was alright I guess they had some issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms in the hotel rooms mine had liek a centipede bug in it , and there toilet seats where pretty dirty .. but I mean I guess it was okay to just get away too for the cheap price

The room was not clean or comfortable. The bed actually had a loud crinkly plastic cover on the mattress! There was old stuck on toothpaste splatter and blood splatter on the wall in the bathroom. There were no lamps on either bedside table or anywhere near the bed for reading. Looked like the homeless stay here when they get some cash - lots of riff raff. Such a bad experience.

The location was perfect for reaching Chico State. The room was basic and unappealing, but the refrigerator, air conditioning, and television worked. This is a bargain location.

The room was cleaned, but it wasn't necessarily clean. The convenience items (towels) were sparse, there were 3 of us in the room, and only two towels.

As I was setting my things down in the room, I noticed a couple bugs on the wall but didn’t think much of it. But as I was trying to get comfortable, I flipped the pillows over and there were both bug carcasses and living bed bugs crawling on them. They had tiny ass bug traps in the room, but they clearly aren’t working well enough to do anything
