the beds and the room were gigantic! the beds were very comfortable. Everything was very clean. There were plenty of room for parking and the area seemed very safe. The owner/manager was incredibly nice and accommodating. We had a really nice, and much needed, night of sleep during our stay.

The breakfast options were a bit lacking in comparison to other hotels/motels if the same price/rating.

I love Downtown Inn's location, especially if you are in town without a car. It's walking distance from so many cool spots! I also really like the staff... they are responsive, helpful, and kind.

The ironing board in the room we were in needed to be replaced (it was slanted when we tried to open it to use it, and it was difficult to safely keep the iron on the ironing board because of that). Otherwise, I loved my stay!

The desk clerk is a very friendly, very helpful individual with whom I can find no fault. The location is nearly perfect for a visit to the Hult Center, with just a four-block walk, and the room was spot-on clean. The bed, though a touch smaller than expected, is one of the more comfortable I've slept on while traveling, and the Wifi is one of the most stable I've tried (that's been an issue in some other places). Also, the bath/shower doesn't look like much, but is one of the most pleasant I've ever tried.

There are some odd design choices here, the most glaring (in fact, the only serious one) being the location of the room's heater/AC at the back, in the closet area where you'd hang your coats; every other motel I've been in had it to the front, and (though I could be wrong here) placing it there seems like a potential fire hazard. It's a hard to manage device, too, in terms of making sure things aren't too hot or too cold, since it had no indicator other than "low" or "high" heating or cooling (every other accommodation I've had has had a digital thermostat). When I arrived, it was off, which left the room uncomfortably cold and made it even harder to guess how to set it right.

It was so clean, no nonsense, and it was close to Downtown. No frills, so no breakfast or anything like that but when I'm traveling I want to eat at the local places so that's not a big deal. Ultimately it has become my go to Eugene motel.

I really don't think anything could have been better.

Just needed a place to stay for the night between locations and this fit the bill. The front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and I was able to park directly in front. Didn't have much other experience with the property but would recommend it.
