Disappointed in facilities.
The room was never cleaned during our stay and trash was overflowing, beds unmade and towels dirty, not to mention the hairdryer had some sticky film on it. We found out the hotel was under renovation after we arrived, with only one elevator working and materials sitting in lobby. Fitness center also virtually nonexistent as it was under renovation and looked nothing like hotel’s photos of it.
We would never have stayed here if we knew this hotel was undergoing repairs in advance. It should have been noted on the website.

We loved the fact that we were greeted with smiling faces as we walked through the door. We had just left another hotel 15 minutes after we checked in due to roaches we seen in the room so we did not even stay. We were in desperate need to find a hotel with vacancy that was CLEAN! We were in town for my sons ball tournament, as soon as I seen the Hilton had a room I jumped on it. I have never been disappointed with a Hilton and this one was amazing. The staff is so friendly at all times. And they are always smiling. The chef was so nice and cooked an amazing breakfast as well. From that night at almost 1 am this place saved us from literally sleeping in our car that night. And they made sure we were accommodated with everything we needed. We were blessed to have found this hotel and the staff.
I mean it is a little pricey. But that night I would have paid whatever to not have roaches in the room with me.

Breakfast food was great, but service was not consistent. One morning it would be great and we'd be well attended to and another completely ignored.
There was a good crew and a bad crew. A great front desk employee (young male pm shift) and then a very rude employee (female am shift). Service should be consistent.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Charleston/Mount Pleasant had awesome people (staff) and a very enjoyable stay.
Dealing with booking.com was an absolute nightmare. Never ever again will I ever deal with booking.com!

The location is convenient for downtown. The hotel is clean .
We were disappointed that the faucet is in the sink was very slow. And the fact that there is no housekeeping now. The rates go up, but the service is less.

Nice hotel and good location. Staff was very nice and professional. Room was clean and satisfactory for my needs.
Wi-Fi was horrible. Many apps on my phone would not perform while Wi-Fi was enabled causing me to have to use the phone's data. Drinks from the Pantry were extremely overpriced! One is better off to stop at a store and purchase what drinks you desire and bring them with you (unless you wish to stick with the cheap free bottled water).

It was in a beautiful area and the room was super clean and equipped with what I needed for a great stay.

The beds were comfortable. Check-in was easy. They were pet-friendly so that's always a plus for us.
The bar and restaurant were closed on Sunday. The rooms were very plain an not very modern. There was also construction.

The staff the first night and second night were very nice!!!
I was charged twice for breakfast, that was included in my 39 dollar tip on my breakfast bill the first day, that I did not add!! When I was looking at my bank statement I was charged $107, on top of my room, and breakfast and no one could tell me it was for but it was from your motel! Supposed to be a deluxe room.... NOTHING to brag about!!!!!!
