way understaffed during breakfast. food wasn’t coming out fast enough, trash was overflowing, and the 1 lady working couldn’t keep up and looked exhausted. if it were me, I would have walked out. she needed help. I noticed this on both mornings I was there. also, pool area and outside trash was still overflowing from the night before at 9:30 the next morning when I left and went to my car to leave.

perfect location to the university. we went down for a campus tour and it was clean, decent breakfast, and friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable too. we booked this place two kore times this year bc it was so great!

The one staff person was very nice. Check in was easy.

The mattresses were really firm and very uncomfortable. For breakfast, there was no syrup out on the counter I had to dig underneath the counter to look for condiments. There also was no cream cheese for the many bagels served for breakfast. I never found anymore cream cheese for our group. also the A/C would cut off in the middle of the night and we woke up sweating both nights and had to get up to turn the air back on. We won't be back.

The staff was pleasant even though they were not prepared for all of the families arriving for graduation weekend.

The rooms were not cleaned and ready by 3:00 pm. They know 3:00 pm is check-in time and they should have been ready. Also, there was no bar soap for us to use to wash our hands in the bathroom. I went and found an employee in the hall that was cleaning rooms and asked if I could get a bar of soap. He said the hotel was out of bar soap. I thought he was joking at first and then realized he was being truthful. I do not work in the hotel industry but I feel sure being on top of your supplies and ordering replacement supplies in advance is something well run hotels do. It was graduation weekend at TX State and they seriously ran out of bar soap. Couldn't a manager have made a run to Sam's Club and bought some soap? This hotel absolutely needs better management. I doubt I will ever stay here again.

Second morning there was no breakfast left at 8:30 because hotel so booked for wedding party we had no place to sit or food left to eat, staff should have been putting more food out!
