Front desk lady was blunt didn’t tell us much about anything . First time visiting I asked her questions about the beach and area and she didn’t know anything . At least that’s what she said . Ocean shores is a small place Unbelievable that she wouldn’t know the area.

The rooms were great! Clean and beds in are very comfortable.

Not many healthy selections on the food menu. The building could use a lift. The room where the pool was windows looked very gross. Needs some TLC for the overall building.

Non-smoking room & Casino. Great view room…lux finishes & super quiet (which is what we were looking for) Every single staffer was great! Loved how there’s so many active things to do there so, that’s fun - more restaurants all the time moving into the area - def makes us want to come back & try again in different weather. The restaurant Emily’s was great- loved my Salmon dinner & my hubs raved about his crab Louie. Service & food are always great there.

The bed could’ve been a little plusher & an extra blanket & throw tucked in a drawer would’ve been nice. We were on the 3rd floor in a room without a fireplace & the heat/AC was hard to regulate. Heat was stacking up from the floors below but the AC was too cold - an additional blanket would’ve made the AC more tolerable. Just opening the window didn’t work.

The room was excellent. The fireplace was so nice. There were plenty of plugs for all our devices. The bathroom shower was the best I’ve seen in a hotel. The cleaning crew were very friendly. I was surprised by how many stations there were on the tv. The downtown area was very close with plenty of stores to shop and places to eat. I will definitely book this place again.

We came to the hotel at 3:40 pm and were told we had to wait until exactly at 4:00 to check in and our rooms might still not be ready until up to 6:00 pm. That didn’t make me happy, but when we did check in at 4:00, our rooms were ready.

Food proportions were great, staffers were really good service.

Room floor was seeking when we walked. The price was way too high for the small size room.

No phone or internet for one day. We check out a day early because of this.

The room was very nice and the view was terrific. We ate in several locations and the food was also very good.

There were a couple things that I felt could have been better. First, on the confirmation e-mail we received a few days prior to our stay, there were several "direct" comments that personally offended me. It discussed the cancelation notice, service animals, check-in time, leave your luggage in your car, and check-out times. I felt these messages were worded in poor taste and need to be reworded in a way as to not offend your guests. Second, we did get there 30 minutes early, left our luggage in the car, and were glad to be able to get checked in. But, there were no carts in which to transport our luggage to or from our room. it took me 3 trips as my wife waited in the lobby watching the luggage. Talking with a few employees, we were told there were only 6 carts to serve the 200 to 300 rooms. This is totally absurd.
