It was very pretty mansion, the neighborhood is just as beautiful. I felt it’s a safe area for a family or traveling alone. Close to universal. We got the suite & an extra room for Christmas. The suite area has a pretty view outside loved that. My family of 9 enjoyed our stay. The owner he was so kind & welcoming, makes sure you’re comfortable. He provides you with your keys to your room & the home so when if you leave & come back we went to universal studios came back late night. (rooms do have inside locks when you’re in your room & our suite & extra room had its on bathrooms inside rooms.) he explains the breakfast times it was so kind of him to make us omelettes & have coffee, cereal, toast, fruits available for us in the morning. I would love to come back here when visiting universal again.

I was able to book two rooms for my family of 4, so we have more space than the regular hotel room.

I took my kids (2 months old and 6 years old) and my mom to Universal studio. My mother does not speak English very well and the host was not very nice and we doe not feel comfortable walking around the house. The host turn off the AC in the evening and it was getting so hot.

Free wifi, breakfast and parking.

Limited number of rooms.

The location is the only thing that's worth staying at this place. The place is about 5-10 minutes to Universal Studios and about 5 minutes away to the Walk of Fame without traffic if that is what you are looking for.

We booked the place for 14 people but the place given to us only fit up to 10 people including all the extra beds which is just a little cot. My brother in-law had to sleep in the couch where he found the leaky ceiling and water kept dripping the whole night and made the living room carpet wet. Beds were decent. Living room was a mess. The kitchen floor was stained from food spill and no one cleaned it. The white towels provided had stains on most of them. AC didn't work well on the upstairs bedrooms. Breakfast was provided but we had to keep asking for more since they only made enough for few people when there were more than a dozen people staying there. This place is also not suited at all for anyone that has difficulty walking or wheelchairs as the only way up and down the floors is via stairs. The front door is also uphill so it is difficult for anyone who has difficulty walking or has a wheelchair to get to the front door.

It was close to universal studios.

It was too hot in the rooms. It is not a hotel and staff lives there.

Really next to universal

It is a lovely home up in the hills of Hollywood, within walking distance to several restaurants and Universal Studios. The nice host lives in the home and rents out the rooms that are in her home. She gives you your privacy and is available to help you with any needs and provides you with a bottle of water in your room and a home cooked breakfast served in the beautiful dining area every morning. The bed I slept in (family suite) was very comfortable and I utilized the provided fan to help me fall asleep. I use a fan at home so I really enjoyed having one provided for me. The 2 nights that we were there were quiet and relaxing. I am a smoker and I was relieved to know that I could smoke outside on the patio instead of on the street in the middle of the night. It is the little things that make me happy. All in all, this home was the perfect place for us. Thank you so much for your hospitality Amy. 😀😀😀 Keep smiling 😀😀😀
