Not fancy, but very functional. Very nice staff. Good value. Quiet location. Very large room.

Air conditioner was a little noisy, but I slept fine. The room had been repainted but some of the light switch plates had not been properly cleaned from excess paint - no big deal. Second floor rooms are only accessible by stairs, so those with mobility challenges would want to make sure they have a first floor room.

It had nice views and was close to where I was working

There is a lot of deferred maintenance and questionable practices in regards to health and safety. The fridge kept defrosting and leaking water, soaking our food and leaving puddles on the floor. The floors and walls were very dirty as was the patio furniture. After requesting room service, they never came so we were without towels and TP for a while until making two more calls. The breakfast was questionable. They were clearly leaving waffle batter on the counter for hours during the breakfast buffet, putting it back in the fridge after and then reusing it the next day. Most importantly, the front and back door were without second locks. The A/C worked but the unit could have easily been pushed through for entrance into the room. There were several lightbulbs missing and the outlet over the nightstand was not wired correctly, so sometimes you’d plug a phone charger in and a light would randomly come on. Overall, it was apparent they were understaffed. Perhaps that why there are so many issues or maybe they just don’t care.

The location is absolutely beautiful

I didn’t like the fact that the manager lied to us and said the room we booked was unavailable put us in a lesser room. Then when we confronted her she said oh sorry I will move this guest so you can have that room but made us pay an additional $50 yo be moved to the room that we booked!!!
