Location

Bed is awful. Pillows are paper thin. Bed stops squeezing 60-90 seconds after getting settled.

Had all that was needed. Comfortable space and bed.

Finding the place was a little tricky- went to the main house (1029) and the code didn’t work so I was unsure if there was an issue. Also the parking spot was good, but quite a far walk (esp late at night w/a kid).

I really thought the location was perfect to friends staying on Brookline ave. It was an easy and pleasant walk, much easier than a map shows. The studio was perfect for one or two people. The kitchen was very well stocked with appliances and gadgets (I only used the kettle). Full size stove and oven. The airconditioning worked well. The noise of the tram did not bother me at all, and I live in a quiet area. There were lots of thoughtful touches that I did not use like umbrellas and personal toiletries. I would stay here again.

I was not used to dealing with a lockbox, so it took me a little time to realize to close the lid I had to key in the code again and keep the latch firmly pushed down until it is closed. I did not understand that the front door keypad is a deadbolt when closed from the inside. So I felt a little unsafe until it was explained to me. Also there is a back door that leads through a corridor to a communal kitchen and a seating area in the garden (and the garbage cans). The deadbolt on this back door is keyed on the other side. So the place is not like a hotel room where the occupant can put on safety latches and close deadbolts. Technically there is internal access to the room when one is sleeping if someone had a key. So I had to rig up an obstacle course every night for my two nights :)

Convenient for work

No Parking. But there’s no parking anywhere, so we ditched the rental car and walked, or took an Uber. The property is in walking distance to lots of places.
