The property was fairly quiet considering there were baseball games going on all weekend.

The shower wasn’t clean and we found some hairs in our sheets. I also forgot my Firestick in my room and called the hotel to see if they could go to the room and get it. They said they sent someone to the room and they couldn’t find it. I was only gone around an hour and a half. I asked if anyone had been in our room since we left and they said no. I understand the risk of leaving an item in the room but I believe they found it and decided to keep it. Rhe staff wasn’t very friendly at all.

THE STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK . We got to the hotel and tried to check in , it was 11 , she said CHECK IN IS AT 3 so we walked out . Went to try and kill time and so we came back and waited . Let me start off with they are so unprofessional when answering the phones . I had called the Hotel to ask about early check in to see if her answer would change and the girl answered with a “HELLO?” and not a “thank you for calling so & so” I then proceeded to ask “WHO’S THIS?” because I thought i had the wrong number but this was the number listed for the hotel . she then responded with “well you called me . WHO IS THIS?” all ghetto and loud 🤦🏼‍♀️ So i hung up because clearly i had the wrong number. she then called back and asked if i tried calling Comfort Inn? UM YEAH , if you answered in a professional way we wouldnt think we had the wrong number (it was 2:35) I asked if there was any way we could check in a couple minutes earlier than 3 she proceeded to say “No check in is at 3”. as were waiting outside for 3 to come ,AS SHE STATED CHECK IN WAS AT 3 . we watched a black lady(im adding this because the receptionist were black) walk in RIGHT AFTER WE CALLED(2:40)and check in WITH NO ISSUE . so we question the front desk AND THE MANAGER why was she allowed to check in if they kept saying and were FIRM about check in being at 3 but we werent allowed to? she said because it depends on which room and size bed you got & then with another excuse of it also depending on if the cleaners were done . she tried to lie and say our room “wasnt ready” and was still going to make us wait until AFTER 3 to check in and then the manager had her check if the rooms were ready and they were 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ because of the issues and concerns we brought to their attention the manager tried to tell us we could cancel the rooms if we’d like and go look elsewhere because they knew everywhere was booked . We drove so far and waited so long why would we do that?

The property was located, very conveniently to the area I needed to be in , even in the face of us, complaining quite a bit about our room they were very kind and sent maintenance up to take a look.

The carpeting had red stains on it. Well I realize the carpeting probably would’ve had to been replaced and you can’t do that on the spur of the moment it’s still kind of creepy. The lights in the bathroom are way too dim and they’re old technology. Meaning they warm up as they are turned on.
