it was a fantastic location and very comfortable/spacious. wonderful restaurants and shops within walking distance. very secure building, sooo convenient to metro - barely a block walk.

only negative is that the name is misleading - the building is called something like Meridian at Ballston Crossing - not National at Ballston. Our checkin did not go smoothly as the front desk person had no idea what National at Ballston metro was and forgot they rented out apartments. but once it got cleared up I couldn’t have been happier with the apartment.

I was a little confused at first as to where to go to pick up the keys, but thanks to a tenant at the building, we were directed to the correct location. After that, simple as can be.

Location, clean, comfortable. Loved the property!

I was a little unsure of what procedures were expected of guests when checking out. I asked at the desk. “Just leave as-is” was the response. The check out email after we left said take out the garbage. Expectations should be clearer.

The location is wonderful.

We had originally booked a stay at National at Balston Metro which we chose due to the proximity of our sons apartment (1 block away) who we were visiting. We received a call the morning of our arrival that National Corporate Housing, the owners of the apartment, will be relocating us to another apartment 8 blocks away because the current guest decided to extend their stay. So this review is really for the Virginia Square apartment which was was comfortable and clean and offered plenty of amenities.
