The room was close to the street so was a bit noisy. They had a fan which helped with noise.

The hosts were gracious and informative about the history of the area. And they went the extra mile of surprising us with popovers on Christmas morning.

The Truman Gillett House is nicely decorated and all of the furniture is comfortable and in perfect condition. The common areas, bedrooms and bathrooms are spotlessly clean. The breakfast is very good, with the hosts checking on your preferences in advance. I had a last minute special food request, and hosts were very accommodating. The location is great and the House is easy to see from the street. The hosts provide enjoyable company and you feel like family while you are there!

There is nothing I would change. I wish I was able to stay longer than two nights.

The warm hospitality of Wayne and Kim was amazing, and their dog performed tricks for us on the second mornkng of our stay. Particularly enjoyed the different breakfast prepared each morning. The place was easy to find using GPS.

Didn’t feel really welcome based on initial greeting at the door. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing.

Breakfast was stellar. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful, but also did not encroach - so got it just right. Bed was very comfortable and room very peaceful and quiet. House is charming and very quaint. And you have the use of a sitting room that gives plenty of space to sit and read.

For us the house and location were perfect. For those who don't know the area, a car is essential as centre of town and the many local amenities are not in walking distance. House is on a main road, so there is some road noise. But the Connecticut bedroom is at the back of the house and so very peaceful.

It was our second stay at Truman Gillet House B&B, and we enjoyed it very much. The house is charming as well as the hosts, and we had an excellent breakfast. Thank you.

The couple running the B&B are wonderful. Room was very tidy and clean, as was the private bathroom. We loved the rustic and warm decor of the place and it made us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious.

Old farm house. Charming property. Owners were especially welcoming and accommodating.

Since it is an old farm house, the bedroom was small for two people.

The indoor mask enforcement guidelines were not adhered to and one out of two of the owners were not vaccinated, which did not make me or my partner feel safe.

It was a restored old home that was a great place to stay.

Kim and Wayne were outstanding hosts and it's a very charming house. I've gotten used to AirBnbs, and there's something that felt necessary about sharing breakfast with people I don't know. Met a great couple that was biking across the state and that started my day off the right way. The area is fantastic, too.

It was good the location it's easy. My daughter ate 6 pancakes she was enjoying.
