Generally fair apart from the two staff who were not courteous.
The room was nice and spacious. It was close to my meeting venue. The staff in were very nice and responsive.
There are two staffs who were not courteous at all. The incidental amount equivalent to $525 that was collected from my debit card I used on 11th November hasn’t been returned. Yet, on Saturday November 16th I had to use a different card because when my bank declined multiple attempts by the hotel on a weekend.

Service déplorable
En résumé, on commence par un accueil par une personne très désagréable, puis un service de chambre aléatoire, aussi une réception inefficace et pour finir un service clients inexistant (débit sur CB non justifié et aucune réponse à nos demandes de remboursement)

We had a wonderful visit at the hotel, enjoying the location, the rooms, amenities, and staff.
Beautiful historical building. On-site bar and food accommodations. Nice-sized room with balcony/patio access. Great views of downtown. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. Large shower and bath. Many positive interactions with pleasant, efficient staff. Every person we were in contact with was very friendly and accommodating.
There were some burns on the carpet in my room. And dark scrapes along one wall from furniture. Had issue with shower water pressure one day; it was normal the next day.

Hotel stealing money from clients

After sending two emails without any response, I feel I have no other choice but to make this public to get an answer. This hotel is stealing money from its guests! We were charged twice for our breakfasts on both days of our stay, leading to an overcharge of more than $110 on our bill. The charges are inconsistent, and I suspect they may have added other rooms' bills to ours. We definitely did not have two breakfasts each day! I didn’t catch this mistake when checking out because the bill was so confusing, with multiple charges. On top of the room rate, they added $25 per day for taxes, service, destination fees (what is that?), and valet parking—even though I specifically booked hotels with free parking on Booking.com, and NOPSI was on that list. I didn’t notice the extra meal charges plus taxes until later. Additionally, I booked with my professional card but checked out using my personal card. Despite this, an extra $150 was debited from my professional card before our arrival, and it still hasn't been reimbursed, even though they assured me it would be returned immediately after check-out. To make matters worse, they don’t clean the rooms daily under the guise of "greenwashing," and there’s no coffee or tea in the rooms, which is standard in every other hotel I’ve stayed at during my extensive travels. On the positive side, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are spacious. We experienced three different rooms during our stay—the first had a severe leak and a damp, smelly carpet; the second had a broken AC; but the third one was okay. The staff handled these issues promptly and efficiently. I hope to receive a refund soon; otherwise, I will be forced to file a complaint

Disappointment at the Highest
This was our 4th stay because we loved the southern hospitality of the staff; especially Mr. Kevin.
We strongly disliked the odor that was in the hallway and inside the suite. In addition, the sofas and chairs, towels and bedding were damp. It may have been mold. We had to go to the front desk to get toilet tissue and towels. We wasted lots of money on food because we had no refrigerator. A suite with no refrigerator/ cooler, unimaginable. To top it off, on our second day, we received a text asking how our stay was going. When we disclosed our concerns, we were told we could check out and go to another hotel. This was so disheartening because everyone knows the city is sold out during Essence weekend. No worries, we will never stay there again.

We enjoyed the hotel and the location in New Orleans and would definitely come back to stay.
It was beautiful! Our room was very spacious too.
The air conditioning was freezing, even when turned up. It was so cold. Everything felt almost damp.

Brilliant location and stay
The location, staff, areas for sitting etc. It was really comfy and rooms spacious and cool. Great hotel and would recommend.
The rooms need tea/coffee facilities and the lifts are so slow but these are minor things really.
