I loved the history of the hotel It was very charming

Our room was on a corner and every window looked out to the wrap around deck that had guests sitting outside all times of day and night. No privacy and it was loud and the lights stayed on all night which made our room not very comfortable for sleeping. The toilet in our room was not working well. Light bulb not working in our bathroom. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The bar was amazing definitely the highlight of the hotel. I will definitely come back just to have a cocktail, but not stay as a guest.

It was a perfect location for what I needed, with great food options onsite or 5 minutes away by foot. The inn was quite charming and the staff was incredibly friendly. The inn’s history along with the decor make it a wonderful place to stay.

I wish the windows could’ve opened.

The location was great!

The air conditioning was not cooling our room. It took a long time for our room to cook down. I did not like the location of our room. We had a view of a building next door. Not many windows so the room felt like we were in a closet.

The Christmas Eve dinner was extraordinary. Our Old Fashioneds were the best we have had in a long time! This is such a special place to stay. The staff makes you feel like family and it is evident that they love the Inn as much as we do.

On campus

The restaurant was closed on Sunday for dinner but I enjoyed what I ate at the bar. However, it was also closed on Monday for breakfast with no food available but coffee. I then learned Ella’s is closed permanently as about a month ago, on Mondays and Tuesdays for breakfast, lunch and dinner, which was disappointing. Had I stayed Monday night, I could have eaten again in the bar, which is good food, just the same menu from the night before and not many selections. I would like to see that reopened! No complaints other than no breakfast options Monday morning!

The property was very convenient for moving our daughter in to her dorm. We were able to walk.

It was extremely loud and the room was small. You could hear every noise and we didn’t sleep at all while there.

Location and cleanliness. Staff was great Complementary glass of wine each evening was a nice touch
