Casa De Mango, beach front home with big pool
Lorsque vous entrez dans la propriété et l'all��e circulaire, la vue dégagée de la mer des Caraïbes vous évacue! Il y a une grande plage de sable / jardin pour profiter des beaux jours, et un palapa et des chaises de jardin pour prendre de l'ombre et une boisson fraîche. Une jetée et une échelle en bois vous donnent accès aux eaux peu profondes. Les plus petits bateaux pourront peut-être venir vous chercher à la porte quand vous partez plonger au tuba ou plonger pour la journée.
La maison a deux histoires. Le salon principal est sur la première histoire. Une véranda en béton teinté donne sur la cour et la mer. La véranda sert d’entrée à un salon et à une salle à manger ouverts et constitue le cadre idéal pour une soirée romantique. Une cuisine avec des appareils modernes en acier inoxydable se trouve à l'arrière de la maison, comme un demi-bain et un placard à linge avec une laveuse / sécheuse empilée.
Les escaliers mènent au deuxième étage où vous trouverez une chambre principale avec lit queen et une chambre d'amis avec lit queen et 2 lits jumeaux superposés. Il y a une salle de bain partagée avec douche. Une porte dans la chambre principale donne accès à une autre véranda donnant sur la cour et la mer. We loved Casa de Mango, and would definitely stay there again! The recently built pool was great, and we loved being right on the water.

Beautiful stay on the quiet side of San Pedro. Very clean and comfortable with lots of modern amenities. The small casita is essentially a whole other house with multiple beds included in the stay. We spent a lot of our time on the dock with a cooler full of cold beverages just enjoying the view of blue waters and the slow pace of life. The location is a little bit far from town, but the payoff is pure seclusion and quiet. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is an excellent property.

Very disappointed in the golf car company you use..not only was the price you sent me not honored and we were charged more the golf cart was a total puece of junk and should not have been allowed on the road . I foind on my own newer golf xarts at almost half the price ..Blue Hole golf cart rentals ..Also the first 2 nights the upstairs showers were not working .taking outdoors showers with millions of mosquitoes bitting was not the best beginning or end of the day ..that being said it was a beautiful home all and all

The space was perfect for me, my wife, and our two sons with ample room, all of the amenities we'd ever need, and a jaw-dropping view and access to the ocean (and being picked up by boats at our dock). Plus, Jessi could not have been a better or more responsive host. I cannot recommend this property enough. Book it now!

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa de Mango. House is well situated in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Loved the view from the dock of the sunrises and sunsets.
The house has good amenities for cooking your own meals and we enjoyed the openness of the family room and loved the 2 decks overlooking the sea.
Jessi, the house manager, was fantastic. Responsive, friendly and very easy to work with.
The only reason I didn’t give it a five star rating is the plumbing in the house has seen better days and needs to be upgraded to fit with the rest of the home. As others have mentioned the water pressure is weak and the sinks are in a bit of disrepair. While this didn’t affect our enjoyment of the house it was certainly noticeable. We also had some unexpected work crews show up to work on the exterior of the property. Jessi was great in handling that issue.
Lastly, future renters need to know that there really isn’t any swimming available in front of the house. It’s shallow water with turtle grass and also has some resident crocodiles. That came as a surprise to learn that upon arrival.
All in all we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

This house was perfect for us! I loved that it was a bit outside of town but easy to get into town. We did a day of scuba and other days we biked and kayaked and went birding in the nearby marshes. The views of the sunrise AND sunset over the ocean were spectacular. The house itself had everything we needed and I found dealing with Jessi very easy and pleasant. UnBelizeably Happy!
We enjoyed our time in Belize so much! Casa de Mango was perfectly situated from the noise and traffic of town yet had perfect access to San Pedro. The dock allowed us to be picked up for excursions to the mainland to see the Maya ruins and rainforest, go fishing, or snorkeling. In fact, it felt decadent to have dock-side pick-up! The house is clean with all the amenities you need - full kitchen and grill although we ate out every day (great restaurants!). While we didn't want to work, wi-fi was available for those few meetings... with the best background!

Unbelizable! This island paradise has it all!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience. Jessi, the property manager helped us every step of the way. 24-7 available and made our arrival and departure practically effortless. Incredible customer service. The house is charming, has everything an individual, couple, or family could need and MORE! We rented a golf cart (necessary) - which Jessi arranged prior to our arrival, and loved exploring this charming island inhabited by diverse and genuinely friendly humans. We’d come again. Casa de Mango is a dream come true.

Everything went very smooth and communication was great. The Pier on the property has seen better days, but otherwise the property was accurately described. I would return.

Relaxing Location
We loved that this location was in a quiet more residential part of the island. We went to several local restaurants and bars the day we arrived and met numerous local residents. These residents gave us great insight on where to go grocery shopping, dine out, etc. We also received good information from the folks at Belize It Vacation Rentals and from the servers at the local restaurants and bars. We rented a golf cart from Sam’s Golf Cart rentals and they were very helpful including assisting us with our luggage to go back to the airport at the end of our trip. The golf cart was a necessity in this location as it is a fair distance (20 minutes, but a relaxing drive) to San Pedro. We went to town or North of town when we wanted to socialize with lots of people and be in a more “party” environment. This location has a great outdoor bar called Stax less than a half mile away, so we could walk there or get there via golf cart in 3 minutes. They served pizza and great drinks. If you want to relax in a great location with great weather than Casa de Mango is your spot!

Great stay with our two teens over Christmas week. House/property was great. Jessi was great to work with....very responsive and helpful. As others have noted, the 3.5 mile trip back and forth to town via golf cart may be a slight issue for some, but we had no prolem with that.

Casa de Mango was fantastic! My wife and I just got back from our honeymoon to Belize where we stayed at Casa de Mango for 4 nights. We could not be happier with picking this house to stay at. Belizeit Vacation Rentals made everything very easy and convenient. They set us up with a golf cart to be picked up from the airport in San Pedro. This house was a little further south from town than most places but was not a big deal to just ride into town on the golf cart. The house was clean and had pretty much everything you could need to enjoy your stay. They had kayak’s, a paddle board, games, snorkel equipment, etc. The private dock was awesome as we were able to swim right off the dock, as well as have our flats fishing guide pick us up right at the house two of the mornings for fishing. There is no doubt we will be back to stay at this house again in the near future. If you are looking for a quiet place off the main drag that you can do everything at your own pace this is the place to stay. **Side note (some opportunities for improvement). The water pressure in the shower was very poor and it was tough to use. The paddle board was not pumped up very well, there was a pump for it but no adaptor for the nozzle so it was useless (tried to look for an adaptor but couldn’t find one). Also, the posts for the hammock were placed too close together causing your knees to practically be in your chest when laying in it. Other than that, the everything was great, I would not deduct points from this place because of these minor issues but am hopeful that the next time we stay here they have improved on these suggestions.

Casa de Mango was wonderful for our recent trip to San Pedro. We rented a golf cart upon arrival and definitely a must have. The house is a bit out of town, but a pleasant drive. The property has a beautiful view of the ocean, iguanas during the day, and hermit crabs on the beach at night. It was a very nice place to relax and unwind. Our only negative was the lights/plugs on the outside were not working and there was not any hot water during the day, but the company is aware and will be fixing. HIGHLY recommend this house and we will definitely stay again when we return to Belize.

The house is cute and has a beautiful setting, quiet and remote. One can see the sunrise as well as the sunset. There was no sofa in the living room, which we missed. Chairs are just not adequate. Also rain comes in the front door due to poor construction. While the location is beautiful, the 2 miles on a bumpy sand road gets old whenever you want to go anywhere. We did appreciate having the kayak which we used almost every day.

The house, recently remodeled, is a wonder place for a family, with all the accouterments to make it feel like your home away from home. The location likewise is perfect, away from the bustle of downtown and most importantly, right on the water. There's nothing like waking up and seeing dolphins swim by in the calm waters. Just stay away from the woods outside where the mosquitoes and noseeums will attack you viciously.

Fantastic Get Away
Casa De Mango is a wonderful house a little off the beaten path and away from the busy-ness of town. This home is on a quiet strip of land with a fantastic view of the ocean. What a wonderful way to wake up!
I would highly suggest that future visitors arrange your arrival plans with Belize It management company. They made our trip stress free with determining how and when to get to San Pedro from Belize City. They also coordinated the renting of our golf cart (another big help) and it was waiting for us when we debarked from the water taxi. Another feature that I would highly suggest is to have the management company meet you (either by plane or water taxi) and escort you to the house. This was worth every dollar and became a quick tour of the town to show where everything was and how to get around. The trip to the house takes awhile to get to by golf cart and could easily get worrisome if you don't know where you are going. This escort to the house eliminated the worry of "where are we going?"
The beds are comfy and the AC works great!
Bring bug spray, baby oil (noceums), and sunscreen with you as it's a bit expensive on the island.
There are plenty of towels (bath and beach) so no need to bring with you. The snorkel equipment at the house is nice and if the weather is good you can snorkel off the dock a little way out is beautiful clear water that you can paddle board to.
We will be back to visit this beautiful home and friendly town.

Perfectly relaxing and exactly what we were looking for!
Casa de Mango is a piece of heaven off the beaten path. The renovated home is very nice and we look forward to our next visit here.
The staff at the management company went above and beyond to make our stay exactly what we wanted. I HIGHLY recommend having them assist/lead you to the home upon your arrival as it could have been a little daunting had we not. Golf carts are necessary here on the island and you will soon be zipping around on them just like the locals.
We snorkeled off of the dock and off into the waters using the paddle board and kayak and gear provided at the house. The waters are beautiful. We had a fishing/snorkeling excursion one of the days of our stay and they picked us up right at the dock. What a treat!
The food everywhere is delicious and we found many local hangouts to expand our pallet. Conch ceviche and fry-jacks were some of our favorites.
The locals are all extremely nice and helpful. It is great to be able to pay in both US and Belizian currency and not worry about whether you have correct bills. It all mixes here. :).
This is a home that we would be happy to return to time and time again.

We were really excited about this property and it lived up to expectations! We were met at the airport by one of the property management employees with a golf cart that they rented for us and showed us how to get to the property. The house itself was well stocked with everything we needed and taking advantage of the option to have groceries bought for us and placed in the fridge was a huge help! There were three of us staying together and this house was perfectly adequate for that amount of people and could have easily slept one or two more. When we arrived, there were a couple handymen building a staircase for the dock which was a very nice addition. This is a great property if you are looking at getting away from the hustle and bustle and don't mind being a ways out of town. It's about a 25 minute golf cart ride down dirt and paved roads to the center of San Pedro. Despite the drive, we still went out to dinner in the town more often than not and still enjoyed having the privacy of this spot when we wanted it.

The entire property rental process could not have been easier. Upon arriving on Ambergris Caye we were met by Jessee at the airport and he gave us easy instructions on driving our golf cart to the villa. The flight from Belize city and the golf cart rental were arranged by Belizeit VR. The villa was exactly as it was portrayed on the website. Ambergris Caye is full of beauty and friendly people. We have lodged on close to 80 different islands and this was another winner.

For the price of this property, we were pretty disappointed. The cleanliness of the house wasn't very good. It was clear the house hadn't been cleaned in a very long time. We suspect the cleaning crew cleaned the house weeks or even a month before we arrived. The floors were very dirty & covered in Gecko poo, indicating it hadn't be cleaned right before we arrived. There was never the same amount of Gecko poo the whole time we were there. There was raccoon poo on the steps leading up the house, which the property manager saw & apologized for, but still made us clean up. The dock was disappointing. The description states that you can swim from the dock, but you can't. The water is much too shallow to swim in & there also isn't a ladder to get in/out of the water. The neighbours are extremely kind & let us use their dock the whole time. If you go on any excursions, you'll need to be picked up at the neighbours dock (just FYI) as this dock is too shallow for the boats (even during high tide). We love snorkelling & swimming & were disappointed that we couldn't do so from the dock. Upon arrival, we noticed the water wasn't turned on & the cable wasn't hooked up. If my Dad wasn't so handy, we would've been waiting a while before someone could come out & fix these problems. The outside shower was also broken. They sent someone to fix it the following day. The furniture inside the house was not up to our standards. The table & chairs in the "dining room" were falling apart. If you put any kind of weight down on one part of the table, a different part would lift up. The twin beds in the 2nd room had no support. If you sat in the middle of the bed, it folded towards you. Although this wasn't the properties fault, the bugs were SO bad we actually couldn't be outside longer than a few minutes. We were constantly bit the second we left the house. We weren't able to enjoy our beach at all. It is much too expensive for what you receive. We highly suggest lowering it.

We had a fun time even though it rained every night and some of every day. The road was horrible but an adventure. The house is definitely not fancy but is fine. We had wifi issues but the internet company came right out and fixed it.
