We loved how magnificent the landscape and surrounding areas were ! the area is! Everything is so manicured yet rustic at the same time ! The pool , the main mansion area , with its lovely old mansion living room with multiple seating for couples or families, both indoors and outdoors ! Breakfast was buffet style and very convenient ! I love the staff that was making due with so many people for the concert ! James was super accommodating ! Parking and walking path to Tanglewood priceless ! I wish I can go back at the end of August

Mmm the property has seen better days ! We got the rooms off the mansion and they were clean and spacious ! I love historical character and anything antique but I realize some parts need a bit upgrade - I put my money in changing the carpet on the building close to the pool Of the main building I would put a bit of revamping and wood repair/painting specially on the outer structure of the mansion entrance and outdoor breakfast area only ! You can’t see it unless you look ! The place is lovely

Who is running the property? Seems like a few young people. Booking was problematic. We were told tvs were in rooms. Our room was very dark. Not very functional and it was dirty. Not coming back ever

Breakfast…not everyone likes lox and convenience store muffins and bagels. The room was drab and very dark even during the day. The bath door would close. The bathroom was not clean.

The pool was nice. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, with cheeses, pastries, bagels, salmon, and hard boiled eggs.

The Lodge rooms are very basic, with nothing beyond the literal description. Like no water cups in the room, or even any way to get one other than walking down the hill.

The Inn is beautiful. Very well maintained and original charm has been maintained.

Plastic glasses in the room, plastic coffee cups, did not like the coffee. These items are money savers for the owners, but detract from the overall experience and enjoyment.

Very poor sound insulation. Bathroom was a bit run down. Pillows and bed not very comfortable.

Great location between Tanglewood and Kripalu, just outside Lenox. The hosts were delightful, the accommodations charming, and the food at the restaurant was fantastic with really high-quality live music. We had a great weekend there.

There is some deferred maintenance at the property, but nothing that made our stay uncomfortable. Just little things that if upgraded could make a better overall impression. our room was over the main living room area, which is sort of close to where the band plays at night in the restaurant. We were tired from the day, so we decided not to go to the performance, but we could hear the band quite loudly in our room. It wasn’t a big problem for us problem since we were staying up late anyway, but if you like quiet before 11 PM, you may want to stay in one of the outer buildings if bands are on the schedule.

All staff were very friendly. The room was very clean. We had a room with a fireplace. It was a nice touch to be able to have a fire at night in our room. Breakfast was good with an assortment of meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt, and bread. The dinner in the Ostrich room was exceptional. Overall, it was a very cozy, romantic, relaxing getaway.

Obviously, the inn it's self is dated. Though that was part of the charm. No tv's. Again, part of the charm, but if you want that, bring your laptop. The only thing was it was a bit loud late at night around closing time at the bar. But it didn't totally ruin our time.

The property, the ambiance, the view, the restaurant and bar were amazing!

Cool that there was no TV or microwave or fridge in room. Plenty of hot water. Excellent restaurant w trendy prices but great food. Staff awesome.

Our room was in one of the other buildings - very dirty - dust everywhere - the ey probably forgot to clean from dust since fall or summer, and the room looked like it was half painted or half finished. I think you get what you paid for, but main building is night and day with this room. Maybe I failed to.nitce but I am not sure if I did see a picture of my room in this page I would have booked it. Building also has a smell inside and so do the rooms - not a pleasant smell at all.

Breakfast was delicious! Fresh fruit salad and granola were outstanding! Yum!

Loved the main house, the decor, the comfortable places to sit alone or together with friends. Dinner was exceptionally good, continental breakfast had many choices. We had tickets to the Colonial Theater, but the weather was treacherous and one of the staff gave us a number to call for transport. Unfortunately, he was not able to accomodate us, but appreciate the offer. Nice to know there was entertainment at the Inn that night.

Our car had to make 4 attempts to get up the hill. It had been snowing and it was very slippery. Took awhile before the path was adequately plowed and sanded. Did not know that we would not be in the main house when we booked the stay. It was difficult for us going back and forth up the second hill to the annex houses as we are all senior citizens. Would just recommend finding out where your room is located before your book. Also, we asked staff 3 times for soap and cups that were missing from our room, but never received them.

The Inn itself was very nice, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was very tasty and the staff was very friendly. The band they had the evening we were staying there was very good. Coffee and tea available at any time of day/night. Loved the fire place in the room. It was so nice to make a fire on a chilly night.

We booked a room with one king bed and two pull out sofa beds but when we got to the room there was only one sofa bed available. It seems that the room was rearranged at some point but the website was not updated in a timely manner. There were a few uninvited guests in our room, stink bugs, some alive some not so much. There was also one on the window sill in a breakfast room. The toiletries in the room were previously used and half full. For the price we paid for one night at this Inn did not meet our expectations, unfortunately.

The accommodations are lovely, the food in the ostrich room is exquisite. Perfect location! Can’t wait to return when in Lenix again.
