I have to say, I’m really surprised by some of the negative reviews I read before staying here. My experience couldn’t have been more different. For example, I saw complaints about slow elevators, but during my stay, they worked perfectly and were always quick. Some people mentioned dirty rooms, but mine was very well-kept. As for the staff being rude or unfriendly, I can’t imagine how anyone could feel that way. Every single staff member I met was polite and smiling. Deja, in particular, stood out — every time she spotted me, she greeted me with a big smile and a friendly wave. Little gestures like that made my stay feel extra special. I wouldn’t hesitate to return, and I’d recommend it to anyone. Sometimes, you just have to see for yourself rather than rely on negative comments, this hotel is a great example of that!

It was well located, 24hr reception, nice decor

My room was not clean. There were random black hairs in the shower and the carpet was filthy, to the extent that I put my socks on straight out of the shower as my feet would get dirty walking into the bedroom. Also the hot water took at least 10 minutes to kick in, I called an engineer the first night as I thought I genuinely had no hot water

I like the place because it is convenient for fast food, restaurants, and a wine and liquor store. In addition, it is close to the bus and train.

The hotel had a planned power outage when I was there and I didn’t get any advance email or notice prior to booking, they gave a vague letter at check in that mentioned limited housekeeping and breakfast. I woke up the next morning with no power in my room and was unable to get ready for a business meeting I flew in for. The hotel staff was unaccommodating in finding any alternative solution and I had to scramble & run around downtown to go to a gym to get ready. The bed while plush also only had 2 sheets and no blanket or comforter was in the room so it was cold while sleeping. Also when I checked in I asked the FD girl for restaurants nearby for dinner and she couldn’t give a me 1 restaurant and said I can look it up because “there’s a lot”. I overpaid for this place and I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.
