The cottages! We had so much privacy, but still felt like a part of the resort community in the pool and beach areas, a great perk for a girl’s trip! We also really appreciated your lovely staff - so helpful and rescued us with a deck of cards for a game night and had great information about local eats, shopping, sightseeing, etc. It was also wonderful to be able to visit the local seafood markets (Gary Howard’s for the win) and prepare our own meals with Chincoteague oysters and scallops, so delicious! Just a really wonderful trip and I’m hoping to visit again with my husband and son - loved it!!!

Location and cleanliness, friendly staff

I booked a two-room villa for a family of 5 (4 adults, 1 child). On booking.com and the cottage's own website, it clearly says "there are three beds in the unit, 1 room with 1 King, 1 room with 2 Queens". However, it actually has only two beds (two king size beds). We can manage it with a 8-year-old child, but I feel the description is deceptive. I got kicked very badly by my child for two consecutive nights, not enough sleep and the trip ended up not very happy. Had I known there are only two beds in the unit, I would definitely reconsider whether to live there.

Everything was very clean, spacious and great location. Pool was really nice. Definitely family friendly and staff was very helpful and friendly too.

I wish the shower had a sliding glass door, didn't like only half the shower had glass. Felt like water was constantly getting on floor.

The cottages were very nice, comfortable beds and a great pool.

Only 2 washer/dryers available and having to take our trash to the dumpster & start the dishwasher or be hit with a $50 charge.

everything about the property has been carefully thought out. It’s beautiful when you first walk into the lobby and check in from when you take the path to the cottages. The cottage itself is well appointed, surrounded by water, and some cottages overlook the pool, which is wonderful.  You’re within walking distance to the main shopping and dining areas and the cottages will loan you a free bikes to ride around.  They have free laundry for their guests, a picnic area with tables and Grill, as well as for a fire pit. The pool has floats, and they provide beach towels. You really don’t need to worry about anything, it’s a wonderful place. We will definitely be back.
