Vi fik en lejlighed fyldt med kakkelakker og måtte flytte til en ringere lejlighed med dårlig altan med meget lidt plads. Udover det skal man betale ekstra 10 euro pr dag pr lejlighed for at bruge indendørs spa og pool, hvilket vi ikke har skulle før

It was way beyond our expectations! The fresh napolianas that can be ordered at the supermarket are amazing! We loved it and we’ll be back!

Absolutely nothing I couldn't fault the quality of the place

Excellent location, really well equipped apartment, lovely restaurant and great supermarket onsite. Staff were very friendly from reception right through the complex.

Room wasn't serviced in the 3 days we were there.

Excellent professional staff. Very clean well run facility. Lovely spacious apartment. The kitchen is very well equipped.

It did not affect us but the balcony might be a bit small if six people were sharing.

Séjour et personnels très agréables les enfants sont en sécurité par contre je trouve les tarifs un peu excessifs pour le standing proposé plus de 1600€ la semaine

Staff were excellent and location is ideal, just off the promenade. We had the 1 bed apartment and the room was a great size. 3 pools, 2 outside and 2 solarium terraces which overlooked the sea. Great restaurant which we used to takeaway to our room.

Was told we would get a response on check in from the hotel but this never arrived.

Beliggenhed, få 100 meter til strand, restauranter og indkøb. De udendørs omgivelser var flotte og velholdte.

Lejligheden var spartansk indrettet. Badefaciliteter, køkken og indretning fremstår slidt. Man skal betale ekstra for leje af håndklæder ved poolen. Der er kun rengøring hver 3-4 dag. Håndklæder og sæbe skiftes derfor sjældent.

Good location, big rooms and balcony

The rules around the pool, pool attendant removed towels if you weren’t sunbathing for half an hour. Went to the pool bar and was waiting a long time to be served as only one waiter on.

The hotel is close to the beach and to the many restaurants. There is a public free parking close to the property.

Je vs ai envoyé un mail de réclamation par tél lors de notre séjour j'ai payé une chambre que je n'ai pas eu pas vue mer pas de grand balcon enclavé au rez de chaussée fermé par des grilles sombre et chambre donnant sur petit couloir réception passage bruit de valises et triste gros cafards sur la terrasse nid dans la bouche d'évacuation Apparemment hôtel complet donc je demande un dédommagement prix très chere pour ne pas avoir eu une vue mer et pas d'étage ne correspondait pas a vos photos

De ne pas avoir la chambre qu on a payé sinon je n'aurais jamais reservé cette chambre je ne me suis pas sentie en vacances le seul point positif hotel à côté de tout

Clean appartment areas like the pool ,reception around the pool and restraunt. Good security key scanning cards . Food in restraunt was tasty and great service . Reception was happy to get taxis for us thought-out our stay and seemed very informative when asked questions ..

Very chostrphobic appertment area around pools we were all on top of each other . Life guards had a towels policy if you were not on your sunbed for half an hour they left a leaflet ( real waste of paper ) on sunbed use then waiting another half an hour if you didn't appear they took towels and belongs away , which is a brilliant policy but no good at lunch times , when have to walk down the town find somewhere and order and wait til food I's prepared an hour is not enough you don't want to be rushing we are on holiday so you lose your sunbeds . We book for 3 nights 4 days for my husbands 50th so we wanted a relaxing break with our older children booked a 2 bedroom appartement which wasn't cheap . But day 2 there was no sign of housekeeping we had no towel change (already used them day 1 and day 2 twice ) no toilet roll and floors were not clean . So rang down took hours for toilet roll to appear had to buy our own . So rang down on the 3rd day about clean towels couldn't face using them again for the 3rd day they said no there is no cleaning or towels because you are goimg home tommorw (day 4 ) ....yea we are but we have been using the same towels for 3 days, no cleaning has been done in the appartment they said they dont have a cleaning programme so we had to do some our selves , take put the rubbish outside change bins make beds wash dishes ( don't mind that we used them ) not the relaxing break we were after doing "housework " and in over 30 years if travelling to both hotels and loads of appartments of different standards never once have I been asked to tidy and clean and use dirty towels for 4 days . We dint mind tiding up after ourselves but this was a first, the floors in the appartment after a couple of days were really dirty and so was bathroom . Not hygienic at all very disappointed.

The location was great, only a few mins walk to most restaurants and bars and 20 min walk to the lovely marina!…it was so clean and well equipped and the staff were lovely and so helpful…we went to the pool at the back and it was nice and quiet which I love and just so chilled, everything was great, we will definitely be back!

The property is in an ideal location central to everything; just back from the Main Street & across the road from beach. Large apartments & balcony with own sun loungers. Pool was manned at all times & sun beds rotated if vacant for more than 1 hour. Staff were friendly & helpful. Food in the hotel was v good & reasonably priced.

Just back from the Sahara sunset. It was everything the previous reviews said. Very clean, large apartment with a big balcony. It was in a great location with many restaurants to choose from.

The pool is very small for the amount of guests and the sunbeds were never free. We went to the beach most days and had to pay €21 for 3 beds each day we went. This was annoying but we had no choice. One day we happened to get a sunbed beside the pool. My 15 year old had to put a t-shirt on while in the pool as it was 40 degree's heat and she was afraid of burning. We were told by the lifeguard that t-shirts were not permitted in the pool which was ridiculous in that heat. The restaurant which overlooked the pool area had no sun parasols over the tables so it was hard to have a drink or something to eat in the heat.

Cockroaches in the room multiple times and limited sunbeds. Frequent pool issues with people having biological accidents.

The staff were so helpful and friendly. We found the WhatsApp service to contact the front desk with queries excellent, with a very quick response. We loved that you could pre-order fresh croissants or pastries for collection at the onsite shop each morning a great service. The hotel itself was very pretty and well kept, with lots of lovely greenery in comparison to some of it's high rise neighbours. There was none of the usual nonsense of having to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a sun lounger ( which were very comfy) as the towels were removed by staff if they weren't being used. There was a quieter pool at the back of the hotel if you didn't want to sit in the noise from the larger pool. It was very family friendly and had lifeguards stationed at both pools. The apartment beds were so comfy and the view from our balcony was very pretty. We never heard a peep from our neighbours at all and the hotel was nice and quiet at night. It is within easy walk to restaurants and the beach. We were able to get a bus to Fuengirola not far from the hotel where we brought the kids to go karting and a mini zoo. Overall, we had a fantastic experience in Sahara Sunset, apart from a little delay on checking in. This was quickly rectified with a free late checkout without any issue.

It would have been nice to have a daily kids club for an hour or two each day, but given that it's not one of the big hotels, I can see why this was probably not feasible, and we knew this when booking.
