Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di avere l'appartamentino, in una struttura adiacente ma separata, per un'atmosfera molto più intima. Avevamo, quindi, una camera matrimoniale ampia con anticamera, bagno e antibagno oltre alla macchinetta del caffè. Il tutto pulitissimo con un'atmosfera semplice ma elegante. La colazione è varia al punto giusto e c'è una zona apposita separata con una tenda dove poter depositare i bagagli una volta lasciata la stanza.

Forse gli unici difetti erano che la macchinetta del caffè presentava solamente caffè decaffeinato e che l'inverter in camera era in realtà solo condizionatore e non anche riscaldamento (c'erano in ogni caso i termosifoni a scaldare la stanza).

Size of the room, bathroom, and private terrace was extremely great! Very private and comfortable!

Room was warm since it was the attic. Another A/C, or a stronger one, would be excellent for summer months. Also, even though the TV offered, we could not connect to internet.

The room was clean and big enough. The bathroom is big and was clean too. Free mini-bar and coffee at the room.

Large room. Water pressure good for the shower. Comfortable bed. Complimentary bottle of water. A lot of choice for breakfast.

The only slight issue was that there was no milk provided for coffee in the room. Nespresso machine wasn't used because of this. Good if you like black coffee though.

We had the junior suite with a large terrace with views, that says it all. The room was large, comfortable, beautifully made up and furnished, bathroom huge, it was perfect.

The hotel is on the 3rd floor, and the elevator is tiny and very slow. The staircase is beautiful, too, though.

The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing - 10 min walk from San Marco and the main touristic attractions. At the same time, it avoids the insane crowds and noise of the city center. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room is spacious and very clean. The cleaning service was impeccable. The Venetian style of the room simply contributed to a better overall experience in Venice. The breakfast was very simple, but had everything you need. Croissants were freshly baked and were delicious (like everything else on the breakfast actually). We read some reviews saying it was very noisy on breakfast because it is served outside the rooms (in the corridor). We don't agree, the hotel staff organise it very well, and it is very quiet. Last, but not least, we has absolutely amazing view to the canal - it was breath-taking. Overall, the hotel is an amazing value for money and it is highly recommended!

The only thing we didn't like is that breakfast starts at 8:00. For most people (including us before going to Venice), this is a quite reasonable time. But Venice has another pace - if you want to see it in a relaxed pace, at 8 am you are already outdoors. So, the only recommendation we had was to start breakfast at 7:30 (if possible at all). That would be awesome!

Hotel is located in a much more residential area of Venice, which makes for nice quiet evenings and mornings, whilst still only being minutes away from a couple of Vaporetto stops. A few options for food and drink nearby that go on late into the night - perfect for late arrivals, as was in our case! Staff were very friendly and gave great recommendations, as well as a map of the city. Bed was really comfy and the room was very spacious, which was a surprise for Venice.

Not a negative at all, but do be aware that the hotel is split between two buildings, less than a minute apart, but just bare in mind that reception may be in a different building than the one you stay in. Other than that, the water pressure wasn't very powerful in the shower and the temperature was a little erratic, but this is really nitpicking at this point.
