It was a good location to get to by car. You can park on the terrain for free and you are very close to Vitra Campus. I assume you can easily get to the city center of Basel by public transport, but I used my car to get to locations further from the city center, like Goetheanum en Fondation Beyeler.

I had just a little bit of trouble of orienting myself when I arrived, but actually it wasn't that hard. The door was at the back. No one was there but I could call (with the phone at the door) and the second number got me in touch with the right person who helped me get inside.

The location was perfect, the mattress was good and the shower big.

Bed sheets had a few holes, the new bathroom had already mold on the silicon, bed lights didn't work and the pillow was too soft for our taste. Unfortunately there was no kettle either.

No air condition in extreme heat. Also, the photos on booking.com clearly shows a double bed for the room category chosen, but upon arrival we were informed we had booked a stay for a single bed. However I must express that the staff was very helpful and solved everything.

Personnel were mostly friendly

There was no airco in the room and the fan produced a lot of noise. In the restaurant we asked for tap water but afterwards we saw we had apparently received still water @€4,70/caraf!

Owners were very helpful and greeted us warmly. property was quaint and included a lovely restaurant with excellent food.

Room was not air conditioned (none of them were). that was my fault for not double checking when I made the booking. there was a fan, but it did not completely alleviate the problem.

The property is in the town with easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The room was baking hot and though there was a fan it was very noisy when trying to sleep. we arrived at the property and it was difficult to get parked with some cars taking up a lot of room.The hotel doors were closed when we arrived and had to phone to get access to the key and the room and no information was given at all in other words we felt the staff gave us no help at all. we were disappointed with this as we had to phone to see if the restaurant was open for dinner
