bathroom door knob was not working so couldn’t shut door all the way. wasn’t as clean as it could be

Room/bathroom sink/floor needs a better cleaning.

Location was great, close to historic DT and Shenandoah NP. Pool is open and refreshing.

We stayed 2 nights and didn't receive any housekeeping service at all. Garbages were full and toilet paper wasn't filled up. Upon our arrival sheets on beds were not properly dried and we have to ask for new one and changed it.

Nice bed and pillows! Location was great, close to Luray Caverns. Nice to have free ice.

Staff was not personable. Felt like I was putting them out, checking into my room. The outside of the facility was not clean, and the sidewalks were very messy. Inside my room, there were holes in the wall, things painted horrible. I put a towel on the towel rack, and it literally fell apart. I put it back together. Also, when I pulled out a tissue, the box and metal container the box was in came out of the wall to display a shabby hole.

The onsite restaurant was a nice feature. Appreciated the discount for guests. It was much better than a "continental" breakfast.

The room was not very clean. The air conditioner vents etc. had not been cleaned in a long time. The disinfectant used for cleaning left such a strong odor that we had to sit with the door open and AC fan running to air it out. Just not a clean place. The entire building needs maintenance or updating. We found the same problems at a different Quality Inn the next night. Seems to be a pattern of not cleaning and maintaining the building, I assume to save money. I'll pay a little more for nicer, sanitary accommodations.

Room was very clean. Location was Excellent. Friendly staff.

Had to ask to have room cleaned. Had to ask for toiletries and clean towels. On-site restaurant only open for breakfast. Waitress added gratuity to a to go order without asking.

Pillow was a bit stiff, and the covers/ blankets were not soft. Was expected a better mountain view with more of nature instead of the the buildings in the way.

convenience. Location. It was close to everything we needed. The rooms were clean and the area felt “homey”. There is a little Italian restaurant right next door and they’re food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I both had a sub and we still talk about it!

Pillows seemed small and the curtains didn’t do much to block the morning sun. Wifi was spotty.

Close to activities

The room had a bad smell, the ceiling in the bathroom was covered in black mold, the shower head cover was not connected to the wall, and the neighboring room had very loud people throughout the nights (2×). When I asked Betsy at the front desk about any reduction in cost due to the problems, she replied "No, because you're already getting a reduced rate through Booking.com; you'll have to talk to them. "
