The location was ideal for us, plenty to see within a short drive. The accommodation and the breakfasts were excellent a great place all round to stay.

We felt welcomed from the moment we met our hosts. Room was very comfortable, clean and bright.
Home cooked breakfasts were delicious. Location was walking distance to the town centre. Sue and Doug were a wealth of information re thing to see and do, places to eat etc. Thoroughly recommend this B & B
The stairs were a little tight to negotiate

On arrival we were met with a very friendly warm welcome from Dave and Susan, who had emailed us earlier to say we were welcome to arrive earlier as our room was ready.
We were helped to our room with our luggage and everything relevant to our stay fully explained.
We booked breakfast for our first morning from a fantastic menu choice. The breakfast was fantastic resulting in us booking breakfast every morning of our stay trying most of the choices from full English, eggs Benedict, eggs royal and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon to name a few, all accompanied by tea or coffee, choice of cereal, fruit juice and toast all of which were excellent and very well served.
A big thankyou to our hosts Dave and Sue for making us so welcome and should we visit that area again in the future, we will without doubt be staying with them again.

Attic room was spotless but tiny. After an initial friendly introduction, things took a decidedly uncomfortable turn when, after asking for a jug of milk, I had the temerity to step over the threshhold of the landlord's living room, to say hello to their dog (I'm a dog person) and was swiftly chastised for my actions and told forcefully to remove myself forthwith! Another reason to stay in a hotel, rather than a guesthouse!!!

A very friendly welcome, all important details I.e. fire evacuation, explained on arrival (also essential details contained in book in every bedroom), extremely comfortable room with tea/coffee making facilities … excellent choice of breakfasts, plentiful and beautifully presented … parking available … very convenient location with only a 10 minute walk into Brixham.

Lovely people, felt very welcome and that nothing was too much of a bother. Our room was super cosy with a super comfortable bed, slept very well. Would definitely recommend the home cooked breakfast, great overall atmosphere. Would definitely book in to stay again.

Made you feel welcome. Sue and Dave were very pleasant room was clean and tidy. Plenty of tea, coffee and milk.
Nowhere to put 2 bath towels to dry after shower so were damp most of the time. I know it is quite modern not to have a wardrobe in the room now days and just a silly rail, but I think this makes the room untidy with clothes all over the place

Sue and David were excellent hosts and made us extremely welcome. We stayed after attending a concert of the Carpenters Experience at Brixham Theatre which too was very good. Our room at Trefoil was Room one, one of six available, and it was spotlessly clean and well presented. Being an elderly couple it was situated on the first floor so most suitable for our use. Having an en suite is always needed and was just what we required. Our stay this time was very short but we thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone visiting this lovely area as a five star base to explore from. My rating is 5/5. Thanks again Sue David and Bodie a friendly dog.

Trefoil is a lovely guest house run by a very nice couple, Dave and Sue. The room was very clean and nice and warm for a winter break. We had a super king bed that was very comfortable and there was a fridge for cold drinks which was very handy. There was also a table and 2 chairs. The breakfast choice is good and very nice.
It's about a 15 minute slow stroll down to the harbour and you probably couldn't park much closer for free than outside the Guest house.
We would recommend Trefoil and will stay again

The guest house was right in the heart of Brixham just a short walk to the harbour. The room was really comfy and homely, beautiful decorated. Susan and Dave were the most brilliant hosts, so welcoming and had great tips about the local area.

Location was perfect - about ten minutes from the harbour. Room was lovely and clean, light and airy, bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and they were great with dietary requirements. The best thing? Dave and Sue were amazing! They could not have been more welcoming, helpful and flexible. I would definitely recommend this property and I would stay here again if I was in the area.

it was fabulous. we were lucky to get a parking space , however if you can’t you’d need to park on the road opposite or a side road - not ideal but not a deal breaker !

Great location, really clean and well presented room, very friendly staff (they even offered to give us a lift to the station after we couldn't get a taxi). Would definitely recommend!

There was nothing we didn’t like everything was more than we expected we shall be returning it’s a great place for a base to see the Torbay area and beyond

Beautiful guest house in a great location around a 10 minute walk from the town centre and harbour. The room was absolutely spotless and the couple who run it are so kind and helpful. They made me feel so comfortable it became like staying with family. They would take the time each morning to ask me what my plans were for the day and give me advice on the best way of completing them. I cannot speak highly enough of them or the house.
Only minor inconvenience was the limited storage space. There are no shelves or hooks in the shower to store anything, and the bathroom door slides open. There are two plug sockets next to the sliding door so if anything was plugged in you can't open the door. However this would in no way stop me going back again!

The whole service was just so good, we were made so welcome as if you were staying with family or close friends.The breakfast set you up for the day and the guest house with free parking was in an ideal location, not to far to walk into Brixham and on the main road out to visit other costal towns.
Dave and Sue were great hosts and we would highly recommend to anyone.
Difficult to improve on.
