My daughter and I had some business in Paris for 3 weeks, so we decided to stay outside central Paris to avoid the craziness of the city, and we could not have chosen a better stay. Our most gracious hosts met us and made our stay wounderful. The unit is comfortable with all the amenitis one needs, and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Comfortable beds and quiet surroundings made sleeping well easy. Plentiful hot water. The village is a 10 minute walk and has pharmacies, ATMs, Monoprix supermarket and department store, there are at least 3 bakeries, numerous restaurants and bars, fruit and veg shops, dry cleaners, etc. The train station is also close and in less than 30 minutes you are in a central Paris station which connects to a metro to get you anywhere you want. We are experienced travellers and have stayed in over 20 different home stays throughout Europe, and can say with some authority that this home in Le Vesinet is amongst the best. In a beautiful neighborhood, calm and relaxing, but also close enough to Paris. We thought it was perfect. The host is one of the greatest people you could ever meet. Went above and beyond for us, super understanding and supportive. Incredibly nice people, both Dominique and Evelyn. WIll definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Dominique and Ev were wonderful hosts. Place worked great. Roomy and comfortable. Le Vesinet is a beautiful area and although abit farther from the city the train was close and train service excellent. It was nice to come to a quiet , secure setting.

Evelyne and Dominic are gracious people who are very nice and accommodating. They greeted us with a big smile, showed us everything in the house, and let us alone to fight our jetlag. Before we arrived, I sent a list to Evelyne for groceries because we arrived on Sunday and I knew the shops would be closed. She got everything I asked for and it was there for us when we arrived. The house was the perfect size for us and had everything we needed! Well, except true A/C as we were there on the hottest day of the century! But there was a portable unit that we used that helped a lot. The house is close to the RER train station which takes you directly to Paris. We rented a car and were able to park right next to the house. The house is centrally located so that you can do day trips to Paris or take the car to Normandy or Chartre very easily. I highly recommend staying here if you don't want to stay in busy Paris but want to be close. Le Vesinet is a quiet town but has everything you need, including an amazing patissirie off the main squar (the street behind the church). There are green spaces everywhere and the people are truly nice.

We spent 6 wonderful days.The neighborhood is very beautiful.The house is cozy, clean and fully equipped. Transport to Paris is no problem. If you travel by car - there is a parking space. Very important - the owner - Mr Dominique is extremely polite and friendly.
