We'd not been to Skopje before but couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Saw a few hotels that we had considered and none were as well placed as this apartment (despite not being central) which is on an excellent bus route to the city centre. The apartment was very big as promised and very well appointed. We used the kitchen quite a lot and found plenty of shops locally to source ingredients. Nice big lounge area with sofa and a smart tv for those who know how to operate that sort of thing. A nice balcony with a view across the city to the mountains beyond. Very comfortable bed in a large quiet bedroom. The freedom of having an apartment made our stay especially enjoyable. We also found an excellent Macedonian restaurant called the Lyra close by for evenings we did not want to cook.

Like much of central and southern Europe the bathroom was quite small as is the bath. We managed fine but some people could find it a little cramped compared to what they are used to.

Very nice and flexible host and a beautiful appartement at a great location. The appartement was ver clean and excellently equiped with everything you need to get started. Anything else we needed we could get fast at the markets next to the building.

The appartement is really well equiped with everything you need to get you started. Just in the kitchen I missed a pair of scissors and some sharp knives as i'm used to working with them in my own kitchen.
