Excellent breakfast in terms of choice, quantity and quality. Freshly cooked. Honesty bar. Room size En suite size Quiet.

Good location very friendly staff. Clean spacious room even though it was the smallest one they had.

Stairs were a struggle. But not much they could do about that. Will go again and ask for a 121st floor room.

I had best stay in Lowestoft.

Late breakfast, should be 7.00am instead of 7.30am

The location was excellent. The room was lovely modern and clean. The bathroom/shower was really nice. The whole hotel was decorated lovely. Little touches like the help yourself to cold bottled water/toilet rolls/ use of fridge/iron/microwave etc was a good facility on the 1st floor landing. The owners and staff were very friendly. They also had lots of knowledge about what to do and where to go. Breakfast was excellent! We would definitely recommend this property.

One thing I would suggest is a full length mirror in the bedroom. (But that’s just my preference)

On arrival, no hassle gaining access to Hotel Katherine or our room (even though we did arrive after 1:30AM) When entering our room, we were delighted and absolutely over the moon! Spotlessly clean, everything you could want or need for your stay is at your fingertips. Very modern, fresh and well decorated. Beautiful garden view Very quiet and peaceful for a brilliant nights sleep. There is Guest Information within the room, with bus stops and train stations locally, nearest shops, nearest takeaways or restaurants and general information regarding the Hotel and your Stay. Every room was taken so feel so lucky to have been able to stay which just proves how popular Hotel Katherine is! Any telephone communication or general contact with the hotel was very informative, helpful, well mannered and very polite. No squabble, you’re left re-assured and confident about your stay. Woke up and come downstairs to be immediately greeted by a happy, smiley and friendly face welcoming us with a “Good Morning” and asking about our stay. On our way out for the day, I happened to notice a little box of odds and ends with a sign “For Guests Use” - Beach balls, beach umbrellas, bucket&spades and loads more! Never come across this previously and think it’s such a wonderful idea. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk from the Hotel and is beautiful for a little wander Check out was just as easy, no complications and wished us a safe journey home. If I am ever up and around in Suffolk, I will certainly without any doubt be staying in Hotel Katherine again! I would highly recommend to anyone

breakfast was beyond what i expected...whatever we asked for within reason the staff provided. never stayed at a hotel with an honesty bar....great touch.. and the facilaties were perfect.. the staff were so friendly and helpful

there was nothing that i didnt like about this hotel.. we went up to lowestoft for a wedding and it was so close we could walk there..right on the sea front.

A regular to the Hotel Katherine. After staying in several hotels in the area this is my favourite when working locally. The standard iis high, very comfortable and bautifully done. Lovely owners always welcoming and a great breakfast.

The only 1 thing is when my husband walked into the bathroom he walked into the glass shower screen It was lovely and clean didn't he didn't realise it was there maybe put a sticker or something on it but that is a minor point

Everything. They've obviously put themselves in to the guests' shoes and thought through what would be nice to have in place. A couple of examples: - a guest station on the first floor landing with a microwave, crockery and cutlery, free bottles of water etc etc. - a comfortable guest lounge that includes a well stocked bar with an honesty box

it’s a beautiful hotel with incredibly attentive staff

the bed was a bit firm for me but for others it might be extremely comfortable

it was very clean, nice size room and in a good location

the fact that I had my 80 year old mother with me and our room was on the 2nd floor but we got around it by going up very slowly
