The owner was rude and not helpful charged me 20 euro a night more for a person but did not provide a cot in the room. My daughter slept on floor and I paid for that. The whole b&b did not have air conditioning only in room when you slept. Terrible experience

The breakfast was fantastic, host was kind and accommodating and the place was very clean.

This B&B is outstanding in every way. It is close to the old town of Tropea; the facilities are impeccably clean and well kept; and the breakfast provided has extensive choices that cover just about everyone’s taste.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about the property…it was excellent…but a few words of advise regarding your visit to the old town by car. The center of Tropea is a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) and therefore is monitored by cameras that control access: be careful because if you do not have a permit to access those areas, you risk a steep fine. There are some regulated parking lots, mostly with parking meters immediately outside the ZTL, where it is possible to find a place but be forewarned, we spent the first night searching for one and only found two in desolate areas outside of the old town. Not only desolate but to reach the town, hundreds of stairs would have had to been climbed to get there. We drove around for a frustrating hour until we found a restaurant outside of Tropea’s city limits. So, to save you that grief, I offer you the coordinates of a metered parking lot just 4 minutes from this B&B that is an easy 5 minute walk (no stairs) to the Main street - Corso Vittorio Emanuele II - 38.67558° N, 15.89745° E.

Breakfast is good and plenty to choose from. Room is big, well equipped.

Location is not ideal for those travelling without a car. Breakfast starts at 8.30am which is not so ideal if you want to be up and about early. Nowhere to get a coffee around before 8.30am.

Room has lots of natural daylight and access to a garden. Simple but eloquent furniture. Quiet location. Good choice for breakfast.

Staff hardly speaks English except for the son which makes it difficult to have a conversation or ask for tips. Breakfast room is very small and lacks hot options such as freshly prepared eggs. Centre is quite a walk.

Alessandro was a responsive and helpful host. The room was large and the amenities were of high quality. We enjoyed the deck with sea view.

One suggestion is that a jug for boiling water be provided in the room. Apart from that everything was great. Thank you.
