The location overlooking the sea
Parking wasnt easy but we were told that

Settee had got dark dog hairs as though a dog had rubbed itself against it a dish brush was full of long dark hairs ( human hairs) at the sink

Location was awesome, view from balcony and close proximity to the town all superb.

The location was superb. The apartment comfortable, lots of games, puzzles, playing cards, books, etc., for guests.
Booking.com gave us an out of date access code, we found it difficult to contact owner due to poor telephone signal but all well when we used correct code.
We left our empty bottles and refuse bags in property as there was no information re recycling and refuse disposal. More information would be helpful.

The view outside the windows was outstanding. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked with cutlery and other bits and pieces. The gas chimney was very nice and made the living room very cosy. The location was very nice. The patio is very lovely. There was a great selection of DVDs to watch in the evenings.
There was an issue with the ceiling paint peeling off in the kitchen and the flakes falling everywhere. We had a window opened at first and before long the whole kitchen table was covered. It was more manageable with the window shut but still had to make sure we didn't leave any food out. Some furniture does look a bit tired and a smell of damp can be felt in the bedrooms.

The location was outstanding, views were amazing and Dawlish town centre and train station were both a short walk away. There was plenty to do - walk along the sea wall in to Dawlish Warren was lovely and the train made other nearby resorts accessible. Beaches were clean and dog friendly. A visit to Powderham Castle is recommended. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed - a home from home.
Nothing. Car parking is not available on site but we found plenty of nearby parking just a few minutes away.

We loved that it felt like a home not just a holiday rental property and the location is fantastic. Kitchen is very well equipped and beds/sofas are very comfortable. Just a few minutes walk into town with a variety of shops and restaurants.
Nothing - we took notice of previous reviews regarding access so were prepared with smaller bags and a torch.

Beautiful views, comfortable and well equipped apartment with excellent Wi-Fi and hosts are very helpful. Love the open plan, can cook and still socialise with your family.

superb views and facilities
Access for unloading and loading was not ideal and accessing the rear of the property was down a dark passageway with no lighting. However this was assisted with a torch left for our use in the property.

The location was beautiful and the attention to detail in the proper exceed my exceptions. The property was ideal for the two of us and severed as a great base, too good in fact we didn't want to go out some days as the view from the appartment was so exceptional
Nothing to be done about it but as you can't park close to property the step slope and steps were a bit of an issue loading and unloading - as I said nothing can be done about this due to the location

The watch house was lovely great place to relax only thing let's it down is the parking and there was road works right outside so had to park quite away away but was lovely stay

Lovely location, fabulous facilities with everything we needed for a comfortable stress free break.
Really well thought out decor which makes the property feel warm and welcoming with clear and easy to understand instructions for using the apartment and facilities provided. very impressed.

Fantastic location, plenty of room, awesome views especially if you love to watch trains on the Dawlish seawall. The town is a short walk away where you can find cafes, shops and the railway station. There is also the park with it's riverside walks and famous black swans.
The walk down to the property is steep and we had to park our car in a nearby road, if you are likely to return after dark, it is worth taking a torch.

The view! Having a balcony was a real treat.. especially to watch the sun go down and the trains pass. Our 6 year old daughter loved it. The kitchen, diner, lounge was spacious and airy. The beds were comfy and the linen clearly good quality. The distant to the town was great too. Fresh milk in the fridge a thoughtful touch.

I can imagine the location is great when the footbridge is open . Also the view is beautiful.
We were told that the footbridge was closed due to work on the sea wall ,however we were not told the work would be all night ! So about 2-3am each morning we were up watching the workers . The price we have paid does not reflect this . The property needs general maintenance, the decking outside is loose , the apartment smells of damp

Perfect location amazing views , we were not aware of the work being carried out directly in front of the cottage , there was a diversion in place and no access to the beach directly in front of the cottage, which was disappointing but didn’t cause any major issues. We are looking forward to seeing the wall finished.
The cottage is very well equipped for a self catering holiday.
A little dated could do with some updates here and there.

The property is in an ideal location, just a short walk into dawlish and a nice walk into dawlish Warren. The sea view is amazing. Unfortunately the sea wall is in the process of being built. But to be honest there wasn’t much inconvenience. I’m sure once the work is completed and the bridge reopened , it will be the perfect place to be. We found the workmen friendly and quite liked watching the works progress. The cottage itself was spacious and had everything we needed. I would love to come back to see the work completed and this cottage would be my first choice. If trains are your interest this would be the number 1 location.
A little noisy during the early hours but not the fault of the property owners . The work is essential. Need more towels but not a big deal really.

Lovely location and accomadation overlooking the Dawlish Coast plus the Southwest Coast railway also in view from the appart for train enthusiasts perfect! not that I am but still interesting. The view from our lounge was a day of ever changing scenery. We were walking distance to the town of Dawlish and also the coastal path which we did walk for several hours brilliant scenery.
Everything was lovely with the accommodation but parking near to the accomadation with luggage was a tiny bit tricky but we were fine as bth pretty agile but the lovely accomadation way outwayed a tiny bit of parking and walking to the accomadation.
