Breakfast and the room were great

The front office staff were not nice and the room was not cleaned during our stay

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were polite and helpful.

I visited the Residenz hotel in July during very hot weather and there was no air conditioning in the room at all and had to leave the room nearly all day to get away from the heat inside the room. During the night it was difficult to get to sleep. Very uncomfortable. I could not fully open the curtains or windows for fresh air due to the office building opposite overlooking my room. On my last day my flight was cancelled and I had to stay the night in a budjet (IBIS) hotel which had full air conditioning all day and night and was far more comfortable than the Residenz. The other very disappointing point of the Residenz hotel was that the room was only cleaned by the maid every four days and on the day that the maid did visit she did not renew the shower soap container that was empty. Also on the same day, I had left a coffee cup dirty which was not washed or replaced and she did not leave fresh coffee, milk and sugar. That was the case for the whole seven days! I am sorry to say a very disappointing service.

Great hotel, friendly staff, some of them should learn more english, we only meet one person at the reception who could speak good english. Awesome breakfast, great swimmingpool. Close to streets with a lot restaurants.

The should speak better english at the reception, no supermarket near the hotel.

Loved the location and the hotel itself was lovely.

The beds could use some better mattresses. Or nice toppers. Other than that I think it was great.

Good position, cozy and big room.. and wonderful breakfast 12 euro per day per person but quality and price are correct. Then in the first floor there is pool and sauna.. super comfortable.. Ottimo

We requested an early check in after driving from the ferry in Rotterdam but was asked to wait over 1.5 hours for the second room we had booked, that was an extra 20 minutes over their advertised normal check in time.
